- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Experience the difference. You will find few trainers who provide the attention to detail, concern or experience that I put into each training program. I look at everything to make sure your program works for you. I will offer occasional training discounts exclusive to Thumbtack clients. So please read the private message when you view my quote or mention Thumbtack when you contact me. My fees are simple and consistent. I provide great, consistent service, I am reliable, and I continue to enhance my wellness knowledge. This is my entire livelihood and I take my service very seriously. Therefore, my session fees are: Private Training: $100 fitness evaluation $85 per hour, in package purchase of 10 or more $50 per half hour, in package purchase of 10 or more $200 4-week group training program /3 sessions per week* $249 *Group starter package - This package is the precursor to enrolling in my group program & includes a comprehensive fitness evaluation and assessment, nutrition counseling, program design, 2 personal training sessions and one 30-minute float session. This package is required before enrolling in my group programs. Group sessions can be added to any private training program at a special discount. There is a $125 travel charge per 10-session package, for traveling to another location to provide your training sessions (ie, home, work, park, etc) Floating Services: Non-peak - $69 per 60 minutes Peak - $79 per 60 minutes Special pricing is available for personal training clients. Please note, I understand emergencies, but I reserve my time for you and cannot reschedule other clients into your reserved space at short notice. Therefore, 24-hour notice is required for canceling a session. A cancellation fee of 50% of a session is charged for late cancels within 24 hours. If there are more than 3 late cancellations in a 30-day period, you will be charged a full session for cancellations or I may suggest we discontinue your training. Frequent cancellations will not help you in reaching your goals and I hate charging for wasted time :( I really want to help people who want to succeed and turning up is the biggest part of making that happen. Also, I limit the number of people in each group session, so your space is reserved for you. There are no "makeups" if you miss a group session. In group sessions you are purchasing a continuous 4-week program, not individual sessions. I do not miss or cancel sessions (even when I had surgeries), and I rearrange sessions for holidays by group consensus. If you do not continue to renew your group program each month, I cannot guarantee a space in it for you. Your workout is important to me. It matters!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This is about you, so I need to know all about you. We will start with just a basic conversation and see what you are looking to accomplish, what has prevented you from accomplishing this goal in the past, and seeing if what I can do for you makes sense to you. Every client is different, so this process varies, but we will explore all the areas of wellness that are not working for you. I will assist you with your journey, but it is up to you to determine how this journey goes. I will not be the cheapest trainer you hire. But the things you will learn from our time together will be things you can use for the rest of your life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. While I have a Master's Degree in rehabilitation/performance enhancement, I also maintain several specialist certifications with major Fitness Certifications including NASM, AFAA and more. I also subscribe to major fitness groups on linkdn, as well as AOS, IPT & Club Industry as well as attend fitness conventions and other ongoing rehab education courses to ensure that I am providing my clients not only safe workouts, but some fun stuff with the current trends and fads in fitness. As long as a fad in the fitness industry is safe, I will usually incorporate it into my clients workout to provide variety and fun to their workouts.
