I would like to start out by saying that these guys are total pros and amazing to work with! I’m a small business owner in Millbrae, CA and with all the rain we’ve had over the last few weeks, the commercial building we lease started to develop leaks. My landlord is not real receptive to building maintenance requests so unfortunately I was left with the task to try to get these leaks evaluated on my own. I posted the project on Thumbtack and within minutes was contacted by Geovanni with G.T. Roofing. He listened attentively as I explained our problem and answered a million of my questions. He was understanding that we had a limited budget and were only interested in repairing the leaks as opposed to replacing the roof given our inattentive landlord. As others have stated in their reviews, Giovanni is so professional and pleasant on the phone that I decided to forego other quotes and go with G.T. Roofing right off the bat (I normally go with at least 3 quotes). Within two hours Geovanni and his crew, which includes his father, were up on our roof diagnosing the problem. Turns out the source of the leaks was an easy fix requiring some sealant and some minor repair which took about 20 minutes. I feel very fortunate, we saved a ton of money going with G.T. Roofing. I really appreciate their honesty and professionalism. I 100% recommend these guys to anybody no matter how big or small the job!

Tom sold my home in Vallejo. Solano County was not his usual beat but it did not affect his attention and adapted to the market when needed. His team was quick to deliver the services needed to prepare for market: painting, house cleaning, staging, etc. As a single woman, I appreciated the fact that Tom went above and beyond and helped me move heavy items out of the property and helped look for hard to find lightbulb replacements (16 w T type for under kitchen cabinet). He purchased replacement pan for the washing machine and a new door mat for the front door. He also went above and beyond to help the buyers through the whole process as they were first time home buyers. I highly recommend Tom Gore for your Real Estate needs. Oh and he found me the place I moved to also in the perfect location and steered me away from the shaky neighborhoods. He really cared for my safety!
I hired CFI Construction to frame a new 501 sq ft building on our property to be used as a sewing studio. Today, they started and finished framing the walls, and enclosing the entire building with shear panels. Next week, when the trusses arrive, they are going to install them and install roof shearing. I learned of CFI two days ago on Thumbtack. Having observed their work today, I feel like the A team just fell out of the sky into my project. They are phenomenal in every respect. Their work, honesty, and work ethic are models for the construction industry. They have years of experience framing large projects, both residential and commercial. I was humbled that they chose to work on my project. They are not solely a framing company. They can build a building from start to finish, I just happened to hire them for framing. Having enjoyed today's experience, I'm going to use them for more phases of our project. Both the owner of the company (Steve) and one of his sons (Drew) were on site the entire day, as well as their crew of 5 framers. I wanted to write this review now, even though they still have trusses to install and the front porch to frame, because I want other users of Thumbtack to have the same benefit of a 1st class, licensed, professional construction company, as I did today. I strongly recommend that you seek out CFI Construction for your projects. They are the real deal. Thank you Steve and Drew.
