FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing may differ depending on location. If public courts, rate is $80/hour (private or group). If it’s at a private company facility where I also work, the rate is $90/hour. I do offer a new customer discount for the first lesson, as well as a 6 lesson discount package of 15% off. Get a 20% discounted lesson for each referrals you make.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everyone who takes tennis lessons wants to learn, but some have different expectations during the process. It’s important to get to know them at first and ask for their playing history and their goals. Some want all hard work and maximize the time on court, while others want to have a combination of fun and learning at a medium pace. Kids are also all very unique. It’s important to only push hard at the right time while making sure they are always having fun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certified instructor (Elite level: ID#52360). I have been teaching tennis for over 20 years with clients of all ages and levels. I was recently the director of a Boston tennis and golf Country Club from 2007-2019 teaching private and group lessons as well as USTA teams practices.
