- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Paul who is the founder and CEO of the company started as a kid training his own dog for competitions. He went on to train under international trainers and as a result was working with the SA Police in many projects. He decided to work with the behavioral aspect of the dog and immigrated to the USA 26 years ago and has appeared in TV interviews, articles and most recently featured in a documentary movie about dogs. He works with many rescue organizations and dog shelters providing housing for dogs as well as training so that once dogs are adopted out they have a good successful rate of staying with their new owners and not being returned to the rescue group or the shelter.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We pick up and deliver dogs to their homes. We offer in house training. We have even taken dogs to the vets for their owners. We offer bathing and grooming for dogs. We are all available just to listen to our clients even if it is in the evening or weekends.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out the facility, check out the people and don't sign contracts. You should work with a company that you and your dog love not work with them because you have a contract and are now obligated to do so. Try them out first and see what you think. Check out how long they have been doing this and make sure this is their profession and not just a hobby that they now think they can read a dog just because they have owned dogs.
