Dr. Kovan was exceptional! She took the time to research and understand my field and the specific job for which I was applying and she was able to efficiently highlight my strengths relative to the requirements of that job and other jobs in my field. She was always professional, honest, and involved me in the process every step of the way. In each draft of my material, she honored my input and made sure the draft reflected what we spoke about in prior phone and email conversations. That resulted in a final draft that was exceptionally written, well formatted, and overall remarkable. I would be remiss if I were not to mention that she kept her timeline for completion of the project. I had a choice between Dr. Kovan and another editor who also had good reviews, but I knew she was the one I should hire to do the job after my initial consultation with her. Not only is she professional, but she is kind, motivated, and warm. I highly recommend her.

Charles Koppelman knows how to use the art and language of film to tell a compelling story, and brings his intelligence and creativity to everything he does. He tailors his approach to the topic at hand and the audience, knows how to select and get the best out of actors and interview subjects, and assembles a crack team of highly professional editors, camera people, sound technicians and the like to produce a beautiful package. He brings a Hollywood sensibility to his corporate projects, and also has mastered the documentary medium. Julian is a thorough editor with a keen eye for detail. He has edited everything from essays to manuscripts for me and has taken my work from good to great. He is proficient at syntactical and grammatical feedback, but he has offered developmental and global insights on my work that ultimately made it publishable. I am always recommending Julian and his writing services to my friends, and I will continue to use Julian for all my writing projects in the future.

Working with Jim was a blessing and a delight. He took my rather dense wording on a new page I had written for my business website and very quickly whittled it down to its essence in a way that would have readers wanting to learn more. He is impeccable with his word—he does what he says he's going to do on time and within the agreed-upon budget. And he’s an incredible editor. I loved almost every one of his suggested edits and incorporated them throughout my site. I've used him twice now as my business grows and I want to continually make my website as inviting as possible. I believe one of the reasons my business has grown to be so successful over the last two years has to do with the way Jim helped me frame my coaching services to let people know what I do while encouraging them to contact me for more information. Thank you, Jim, for your responsiveness, your intuitive and extremely helpful insights into what can be lost in words but gained in persuasive strength, and your kindness as a collaborator. I look forward to working with you again soon." - Anastasia Frank, Relationship Coach, owner of www.AnastasiaFrank.com

Due to my diminishing knowledge of English grammar, I searched the Internet for an editor to help navigate the murky byways of periods, commas, verb endings and sentence structure. Thankfully I came upon Steve Dulas, a former copy editor for a local county newspaper in the San Francisco Bay area. I couldn't be more pleased with Steve’s work. Not only does he have a lifetime career in editing and turning out “clean” copy, but I found he also carefully reads for content and offers creative and sometimes just common sense advice to look at vague or weak areas so that the narrative flows and is coherent. This advice is always given as a kind suggestion; Steve is never demeaning or heavy handed. Steve reviewed half of my book (45,000 words) in a timely two week period, sending me one copy with the changes and yet another copy with creative thoughts in specific places. It really was an outstanding job. I can happily give Steve a five star reference and am certain anyone would be as pleased as I was to find him. I plan to use him again.

Jacquie is great. Having her available during my job search made the process so much less stressful. She helped edit my resume, condense and streamline my cover letter, connected me to people she knew in the industry, wrote referral letters and gathered useful feedback regarding my applications. She has a ton of insight and wisdom on how to beef up your resume, how to interpret interview feedback and how to stay grounded & motivated throughout your search. Working with her felt like having a cheerleader, editor, mentor and agent rolled into one awesome package, and I would absolutely recommend that anyone looking to switch jobs, enter the workforce or change careers utilize her services.

I have worked with Jeff for the last three years, and he is, without a doubt, one of the best people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. As his supervisor, I worked with him closely, and he consistently delivered products that were high quality. He is always open to feedback, and embodied the voice of our organization in person and via communications (digital, social, etc.). He is passionate about social justice, education, the arts, and was a champion and ally for our students. His playfulness and professionalism made him an invaluable asset to our organization.
