Nikki work and attention to detail was excellent. I will recommend her to other clients. In fact I have already given her information to other agents. I heard many positive remarks from guest whIle they were touring to open house.Aug 26, 2017Verified
Nicky at NBL Design did an amazing job and helped us sell our $ 2 mill. home in 5 days! She helped us present our home in the absolutely best way possible - and we kept getting compliments about the staging from buyers, neighbors and friends. I did a lot of research about staging and NBL Design is definitely the most competitively priced in the Bay area for upscale/high quality staging.Jan 19, 2017Verified
Nicki and Jeanette made my condo look like a showplace!! Their staging choices were beautiful, and totally aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely recommend NBL Design for any realtor who wants to stage a property in the best taste possible. And, their service was very fairly priced. I am so happy that I hired them to do my staging!Dec 14, 2016Verified
Nicki guided us through an upgrade to our kitchen. She's skilled in suggesting appropriate colors, and was able to keep me from flailing all over the place staying in the correct "time period" within our Victorian home. That was huge because I was all over the map and needed to tethered. My husband was often distracted with work so often Nicki and I slogged through selecting appliances, tiles, mable counter tops and paint colors. She also works with a wonderful team of artisans, cabnet builder, seamstress, and many other skilled workers. In the end we love our beautiful new kitchen and will work with her again. However, the project that was worrisome was with the marble counte tops. They are beautiful and a good choice, but we just needed to know more about the process of transforming a big slab of marble into counter tops. It was way more than I thought. There was a moment when construction was almost halted because fabricating the marble into counter tops had not been given proper consideration in regards to the amount of time the process took. Nicki ultimately came to the rescue, finding someone on short notice. That was our only hiccup. We loved working with Nickie and certainly recommend her to others.Feb 24, 2017Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, I attend trade specific conferences in both LA and NYC. I always use these trips to update myself on current market trends. Occasionally I find myself a couple of extra days and I'll use that time as buying opportunities for specific clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Design, like many professions, is part of your person. Like any artist, it existed from the beginning, and has been fine tuned throughout your life experiences. It's been my great fortune to do something I truly love doing.
- What types of customers have you worked with? The most common type of help I'm asked for is space planning and color selection. Many people have an idea in their heads of what they want, in terms of both style and space, I assist in that transition from their head, to their house.
