We were looking for a "day of" coordinator for our wedding...so I started looking on Thumbtack for help. After reading reviews on Michael and his profile, we met up at a local coffee shop to talk about what our needs were and if he could do it. I had a great feeling about him right then...I even showed him our card table ideas and wedding favors, and he gave me better ideas of how to set them up (talk about "thinking outside the box!"). Up until the BIG day, he kept in touch, asked how things were going and if I needed any help....I so much appreciated these messages being the nervous bride! The day of, he was punctual, was able to get through a "check list" I made him regarding set up and timing...and, most importantly, he kept me calm! If any "hiccup" came up, he fixed it in an instant! I truly believe our wedding ran smoothly and on time, thanks to Michael! I would definitely hire him again for any party planning/coordinating needs...or even floral needs (he is a great florist, too!) Thank you so much, Michael! Before I give my glowing review of Tiffany, I have to preface the review with a few words so you know that I was in your shoes. Wedding planning sucks and having to stick to a limited budget doesn't it make it easier. As a bride, sometimes you have to cut corners in order to afford simple things (or let's be honest more desired things) for your wedding. Hiring a full service wedding planner, was one of those things that I really wanted, but I knew it would take a huge chunk out of my wedding budget. My wedding was in San Francisco, so its not the cheapest city to have your wedding. But after receiving price quotes from full service wedding planners, their prices depressed me (adding unnecessary stress to my wedding budget woes) and when I looked at their packages, I just didn't feel like it was right for me or my budget. I had to take a step back, breathe, and take ownership of wedding planning and face reality. I knew what Id need to do, to stay on budget. I had big decisions to make as a bride, but I knew I could save a ton, if I planned my own wedding. So I thought hey I plan many events for my friends, family, and clients all the time, weve got about 85-100 guests to invite, why not plan my own wedding, and hire a day of coordinator to save money?" I did just that and when I was in the process of looking for a day of coordinator, my next thought was, "shoot if I hire a day of coordinator, will I overlook something and regret not hiring a full service wedding planner?". With caution, I started to ask for quotes for day of coordinators and realized right away what I needed to do. I put a request up on Thumbtack and the email quotes came rolling in. I was astonished. But I was in a conundrum - every price was competitive, so how does one choose a vendor over the other. All of them had amazing reviews (which put my initial concerns more at ease). I spent a few days emailing back different vendors, asking them questions, reading their reviews, even looking them up on Linkedin! I did some my research and eventually decided on Tiffany Won. Choosing her as the day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. 3 pieces of advice if you DIY: First off ladies, have more confidence in your planning abilities and use the resources the internet provides you (there are a ton of wedding checklists and schedules online to help you plan your own wedding, and for inspiration for décor or what not, pinterest was key for me). It might be intimating at first, and the time involved in planning your wedding might feel like an absolute time suck, but trust in yourself and plan your day. No one has a better vision of what you want for your wedding, more than you. Secondly, trust in a day of coordinator like Tiffany to execute on your vision. She's top notch and will be a valuable asset in your planning process. I hired her as my day of coordinator. I was a little anxious, but after I spoke with her on the phone and especially after I met her before my wedding for the 2 hour pre-wedding meeting, I could tell that she had plenty of experience in event planning and coordination. Not only does she have experience in wedding planning, but she has extensive experience planning corporate events and conferences, which as you know, could range from hundreds to thousands of attendees. My thought was, if this girl can plan corporate events that are large scale, she will definitely be able to coordinate my smaller scale event. She also asked the right questions before the wedding, which put my concerns at ease, since she is very sharp and it became clear to me, that event planning plays a very familiar story in her head, a story she knows word for word. Thirdly, stick to your budget. If you need to roll up them sleeves and plan your wedding, just do it. But call in some cavalry to take over on the day of your wedding day because youll need it. Make sure you go with a pro like Tiffany. Im pretty detailed oriented. So is she. I thought I had every detail planned, all she has to do is follow the schedule. You know what, she was able to catch holes in my schedule and my planning. She worked with me to double check my wedding schedule and everything the whole shebang from pre-wedding day stuff like what time the florist will set up, when will the lighting company get to the venue, advice or a second opinion on wedding décor, suggestions for additional vendors .even ceremony logistics such as where people would stand, the flow of the event, gaps in the vendors schedules and the wedding reception details like when the band would take their breaks so she can play an ipod or something so background music would play, helping with the mic transition from the emcee to other guest speakers, overseeing food service so there wasn't a huge gap between the appetizers and dinner, making sure I ate, making sure the groom and I did our table rounds to thank our guests for coming, making sure at the end of the evening someone could collect my wedding gifts, etc etc. Tiffany did a phenomenal job at overseeing every tiny detail the day of the wedding! My wedding went smoothly, the guests had a fantastic time, I now have memories that will last a lifetime, and this was all because I had help taking some wedding responsibilities off my shoulders, I'm so glad I hired Tiffany! Tiffany went over and beyond the call of duty and at a very fair price. Whether you hire her as a day of coordinator or hire her for full service wedding planning (or to plan any type of event), do yourself a favor and put her in your top consideration list. I would hire her again if I could. I will certainly be recommending her to my friends and family. And if you hire her, Im sure you will eventually do the same. Kudos Tiffany for the excellent work! Five stars hardly suffice in rating the work of Rebecca and Anna Marie. My party was all that I had hoped for and more! During the pre-party planning they were attentive and sensitive to our vision for the day. In preparing for the party, their excellent attention to detail, ability to handle each nuance, and creativity in putting all the pieces together was exemplary. During the party they translated our vision by orchestrating each detail and transition flawlessly. All this was done with hardly anyone realizing that they were there. We explored several venues like restaurants and banquet halls before deciding to hold the party in my home. Getting ready involved moving furniture and transforming a house into a party place. We are so pleased for having made that decision because we were able to celebrate in an environment that represents us and that we know best. If I were to pick the qualities that best describe Rebecca and Anna Marie these would be professionalism, sensitivity, creativity and love for their work. Their positiveness and enthusiasm carried the day. Rebecca and Anna Marie know how to take an idea and from that create a celebration. I highly recommend using a party planner for your next celebration and AR Weddings N Events is the company that knows how to make celebrations happen.
We hired Manya to do face painting, and do glitter tattoos at our twin daughters 3rd birthday party. Also, at the end of the party she dressed up as Olaf from frozen. My daughters had an amazing time, and their friends did as well. I would absolutely recommend Dazzling Streaks Party Entertainment to anyone that is looking for someone to provide any of the services she offers. Most of the children attending our party were 3-5 years old and Manya was very patient with each of them and just did a really great job. We were very impressed and hope to use her at other parties in the future.
Sunshine Event Planner are Fantastic. They're showned up on time. Their Face painting are extraordinarily beautiful. The Kids are love them. We will call them again for our next party.
Forsyth Designs was the mastermind behind the exceptionally beautiful and customized decor for our wedding. Matt's ability to translate our vision into a reality that far exceeded our expectations while staying on budget was the best "gift" a bride could ask for! He literally transformed a white tent into a stunning lounge-like atmosphere that accommodated our every need and desire. There isn't a large scale event or party that I would consider hosting without collaboration from Forsyth Designs. Working with Matt is seriously delightful on every level!
Jennifer cleaned my house within an inch of its life. She cleaned it more thoroughly than it has ever been cleaned in the 13 years I’ve lived here. I told her that I was having a party for my daughter’s 16th birthday and she made this place shine. She rearranged furniture, she decorated, she put up lights outside, and she made the most amazingly beautiful cake. I can’t wait to work with her again.
We had a small dinner party (10 people) at our home and hired Rainbow Chefs to make the appetizer, dinner and dessert. It was amazing! We'll definitely recommend to all our friends and can't wait for our next event. Highly recommended!
When we met Khadija we were half way through the wedding planning, and we knew what we wanted in our party but we still needed plenty of guidance...Khadija and James provided that and then some! We found Limelight Productions to be all we could have hoped for and more. Not only is their team very organized and knowledgeable but they helped us to think of things we never would have otherwise considered and they truly went above and beyond. We never had one e-mail, text or call not promptly responded to and at the right times they even gave us some needed pushes on planning and execution as our big day drew nearer. The week of the wedding arrived and Khadija and James (and Ayesha for the bouquet production) showed why they deserve nothing less than 5 stars on their reviews. They were fantastic and very professional, and our party was amazing because they were an amazing team handling things for and with us. Our thank you very much to them, and best recommendations. There is no way we could have had our wedding without them!
I've had the opportunity to work with Miss Harper as her photographer on many occasions. Whether we are providing services for a small private house party with 20 guests, with a culturally enriched theme, to providing services for a 100th year life celebration, we have always gone above and beyond to provide the best service possible for our clients. Through observing her process of developing a experience, planning all the details with the client for a wedding, to the detail with a client for a birthday party with more then 100 guests. Ms Williams arranged my 50th birthday party with a New Orleans theme. It was fantastic! She handled everything from identifying the most appropriate venues to finding the right caterer, photographer, band and servers. She took care of ALL the details, as advertised. She handled the guest list, the set up and clean up, and even made sure the gifts were safely transported. This was the biggest event of my life and Ms Williams made it stress free.
Robyn made my bridal shower a total surprise! I was not expecting it at all. It was based on me, as the theme was what I love best, horses. I could tell she had spent so much time researching to find decorations and party favors that would make my bridal shower so special. She also helped plan my backyard wedding. I'm not a very good party planner myself so had no idea where to start. When I hired her, she stepped right in and took the control I was looking for. I could relax and have a great time at my wedding knowing every little detail was being watched and taken care of by Robin.

Hedieh was excellent. She was clear about the packages. Had very good suggestions for what we wanted to achieve. Was very punctual. And most importantly she handled a snafu from one of the vendors on the day of the party. She took it upon herself to resolve the issue and got it done during the course of the party. Would recommend her highly.
Tammy is very talented. She transformed my outdoor space in such beautiful ways that her work was the topic of conversation at my party. I was so pleased and I am not someone who is easily impressed. Tammy is a pro!

Rainbow Chef's catered our company Halloween Party and did an amazing job! They served up homemade small bites with personal touches, including adorable coffin-shaped brownies and ricotta and spinach eyeballs. Everything tasted amazing. We highly recommend them!
Dina is the kindest, hardest working, calmest person you could work with. Her particular talent is decorating, which was tasteful and gorgeous for our outdoor Bar Mitzvah. She also shopped and contracted vendors for us. She made beautiful flowers arrangements from Traders Joes and bought perfect catering food from Whole foods. We had a fabulous pizza oven and she planned activities for the kids that made the day both beautiful and special. thank you, Dina!
