After the recent heavy rains, a dark dye leaked out of a coir doormat I had just bought and badly stained the cement at my front door. Arisel offered three possible solutions to the problem, ranging from trying to bleach and power washing it off to repouring the affected rectangle of cement. Because I anticipated difficulty in getting the approval of my condo community and wanted my front door to look nice again right away, I opted for the bleach/power washing option. It completely removed the stain! Arisel was great in every other aspect of the job, too. He responded promptly and thoroughly to all emails and texts, fit me in immediately and at a time convenient to my work schedule, and also had a cheerful yet professional demeanor. I plan to hire him again soon to replace some faulty ceiling lights and handle any other projects that come up.
Michael installed our dog door perfectly! He cleaned up well and was very professional. We will be using him for future projects. I highly recommend him!
Ricardo sanded and stained our garage door as well as repaired a backyard gate. My husband and I were very pleased with his work ethic and skill level. We will definitely call him again.
quality work done in a timely fashion for a fair price. Waiting an hour for him to show up was sub-optimal.
Matthew was so great to work with. He installed a butcher block countertop over my washer/dryer, (which had some complexities to it), hung some floating shelves, installed window hardware, etc. He has a good eye for detail, let's you know what his approach to a solution will be before doing it so you can be involved in the process, and he does a great job! I would definitely hire him again!
Did an awesome job with our front door lock installation. Very knowledgable home pro - would highly recommend.
I've been wanting to convert my living room into a bedroom, but I didn't know who to hire. I asked around and a lot of contractors asked for too much money, around $1,000-$2,000 just for a door installation. I hired Slavik because he gave me the best quote. He arrived the very next day to inspect my apartment and gave me a few options. Slavik and his team installed the door in record time and they did an outstanding job making sure it fits and functions properly. I couldn't have asked for a better job, plus the cost was reasonably affordable. These guys are the best! I'll be hiring Slavik as my trusted contractor for all my future renovations.
Vyron With his crew-Marco and Pablo did their jobs well. Painting the window trims and baseboards, doors, garage as well as caulking were time consuming but they paid attention to detail. We had wanted to change the roman tub faucet trim but it was unreachable from the access door. In the end, we had to create another acccess door, modify the plumbing. The results were great and we have a beautiful chrome Faucet in place.
Derrick installed an exterior door for our guest house. After it was installed, the door needed some adjustments. I called Derrick and he came back for free to adjust it !
Came for free estimate, let me buy the equipment to reduce cost of labor, and fixed our broken garage door on time. Would definitely recommend him!
I hired Jasper from My Apartment Is Better Than Yours. I think they did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. I'm really pleased that I decided to go with them. I had a number of unusual carpentry tasks to complete when I moved to my new place. The windows were old and the wood was irregular and moldy, so the wood around the antique glass panels needed to be replaced. I was told those windows hadn't been opened in 40 years, but now they work perfectly and you'd never know the wood wasn't original. Also, several doorways lacked doors when I moved in, and were unusual rounded shapes cut into the stucco without doorframes. Jasper was able to make me custom doors with antique iron-wrought handles, and they look awesome. I also needed threshholds worked on, cabinets put up, new benches made for my roof deck, a custom projector and screen put in, antique chandeliers installed, a lock repaired... and I'm probably forgetting one or two things. They are in the process of putting the finishing touches on my humidor (they had to build me custom legs for it), and it's going to look spectacular. Anyway, they knocked it all out of the park. They were prompt and clean and didn't cause much of a disturbance despite all the work they were doing. They'll be my go-to for anything I need done in the future. I definitely recommend them.
Tom did a great job fixing closet doors and a doggy door.
From the minute Richard opened my front door and told me he needed to take his shoes off or else he would track water and mud into my house, I knew we were going to get along great. He was close to prefect in managing a number of jobs I had on my list - some work in my bathroom, hanging pictures in my living room and my gallery wall in my dining room. Nice, professional, polite, effecient and respectful of my home. Would hire him again in a minute and will.
Juan and his team have done a great job to remove and install patio windows. I found myself very lucky to get to know a great team to do a good job, thank you very much
Coyado's Company was very good at installing our new door. I threw them some curve balls with extra security hardware to install and they handled it all to my satisfaction.
Johan and his brother did an incredible job on my closet door. He was quick to respond, at our house the next day to provide a quote, and produced high-quality work. He was easy to work with and flexible with scheduling (I mostly texted with him to coordinate). I highly recommend him, and look forward to using his services for future projects.
Excellent job installing a dog door.
My job was small for the industry so I really appreciated professional window installers being willing to take it on. All the people in the transaction were honest and straightforward and knew their stuff.
We initially hired Victor to frame and hang twelve sliding doors. It was a custom installation, yet Victor quickly grasped the concept, asked good questions, and went to work. At the end of the day he sent a status update and pictures. We were happy with his framing work so we also hired him to install seventeen can lights. Two sets requires running wires inside of walls and installing new switches. Victor and his partner did an excellent job. We are very happy with his performance and will definitely hire him on future projects.
Patrick did an amazing job with my school’s new Dutch door! He came by to measure the door as kids were pulling my attention this way and that, but he was very patient and understanding that I had my hands full. He explained that we needed a custom door because our frame was smaller than standard size. And when I changed my mind about the style, he was quick to ensure the changes went through. He very graciously worked with my schedule for the installation because I was worried it would be disruptive to the class. He finished it today and everything was very nicely done! Since we relocated, our budget is tight as we’re working on a number of projects, but I’m so glad that we went with a true professional because the door is the first impression that families receive. And it’s perfect thanks to Patrick!
Mark was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly to messages on Thumbtack and via text. He was punctual and flexible with our schedule. He walked through everything with us, listened to our concerns and needs, and worked with us to stay within our budget and timing, and sequenced projects accordingly. He also has a great sense of humor and was pleasant to talk with. We were very happy with his work and the work of the professionals he worked with for electrical, plumbing, and painting. The work that was done: removal and replacement of 2 windows, walls, and flooring where there was water damage, wood rot, and the start of mold; adding a door to access the space under the front stairs and creating a storage space with tiled floor and drywall; waterproofing / sealing the brick of our front steps and porch; removing carpeting and laminate flooring and installation of new laminate flooring; installing siding on the front of our house and painting of the front of the house (2 stories); texturizing and painting walls; installing a wet bar / kitchenette; replacing shower pan, tile, and shower door; removal of tree and bushes in front yard. I think that’s everything. We highly recommend Mark and would happily work with him again.
