Kandis is a top-notch yoga instructor--and I am VERY particular about yoga instructors. She is the only personal yoga instructor I have ever had who thoughtfully explains what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how it impacts the muscles and structure of your body as you do it, too, which I love. Because of this I find myself easily integrating yoga into my day on days I don't see her just because I know what to do and how to do it. She also has a fun personality and you can easily see she actually enjoys teaching yoga which makes the process of doing yoga 10x's more enjoyable. I leave our sessions together feeling so much better energetically and physically than I typically do from yoga. If you are looking for an excellent yoga teacher who is thoughtful, thorough, highly intelligent, fun to work with, who will foster and help you grow your own love of yoga beyond your sessions together, you need Kandis in your life!
Bill is among the most inspiring fitness professionals I have met. I have attended his yoga classes and his Yamuna ball rolling classes, and I have been relieved of severe back tension and pain through his thai massage. So, how is he inspiring? His style is not that of the "rahrah," over-muscled, steroidy body builder. Bill's style exudes strength and power that comes from his solid spiritual core. So whether he's guiding me through a yoga session, a Yamuna session, or even weight training, I feel growth, strength, and in healing in my spirit as well as my body. Bill's unique life experience and perspective makes this possible.

Christine is absolutely terrific - she instructed me and my husband at our home, and instantly put as at ease with her great vibe and energy. The class itself was wonderful, very instructive (we are both beginners and my husband was a first-timer), she was very conscious of our postures and ensuring that we did not overextend ourselves or do anything damaging, and just so great overall that my husband agreed to make it a regular thing :).
I only practice yoga with Triveni. I have a back injury, and trust Jessica to guide me through poses that provide the most benefit.
I started working with Natalie since two weeks now. Had 8 sessions, alternate days, without a single missed appointment. She is always on time, if she comes in few mins late, she would compensate those. Very friendly and easy to work with, she customizes the work out as per the person's ability and pushes you gradually which makes it doable. She is also very flexible to work around your schedules. I highly recommend her to anyone from beginner to an expert level. Thanks Natalie.

This was a very good yoga class. Orly was excellent in creating a well balanced class that involved both passive stretching and strength poses, in both the upper and lower body. Her guidance through the class was engaging and helped me focus on the present moment.
Personalized (for me a beginner) yoga in the comfort of my home. Natalia is super friendly, patient and seems to love to teach and talk about yoga. Highly recommended, even if you're new, like I am, to yoga.
I typically practice yoga in SF, but when in the East Bay...I do as yogis do & enter the world of serenity & positivity at So Yoga & Healing🙏🏼 The marvelous Margaret led her classes with constant professionalism with a welcoming & casual approach. I appreciate how her classes begin with student participation honoring special requests (e.g. focus on lower body, hips, core, etc.) or considerations (e.g. those with ankle injuries, weak backside, etc.). Most especially, I enjoy each closing savasana that allows one to decompress mentally, emotionally, physically - this is made possible because of Margaret's subtle, yet effective use of aromatherapy oils, a sweet treat every time! And lastly, what makes this class astounded original is the rhythmic beats of reggae tunes accompanying nearly each asana that Margaret carefully guides her students through: cannot wait until the next time & that's for real mon! All❤️one❤️for So Yoga & Healing❤️💛💚
Sierra is an excellent Yoga Instructor!! I have been with her for more than 3 years and she is a extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring Instructor. She ask questions about your health and include poses in the sessions to accommodate each persons particular needs. She also provides options during the class based on an individuals needs, i.e. using a chair for those who have difficulty getting to the floor. She is amazing in her craft!
Prior to meeting Jaime, I had only tried yoga four, maybe five times. I’m a cardio junkie and yoga is just so slooooow. If I’m gonna spend 60 minutes exercising, I’d better get sweaty and sore. Enter Jaime. Wonderful, kind, positive, patient Jaime. At our first consultation (which was free of charge) she let me rant about my general yoga skepticism. But she also got me to acknowledge my real, physical pain. Tight hips. Back aches. Knee injury. Standard stuff. After that consultation, Jaime put together a custom plan for us to work through these issues. Which we did, every week. And it turns out, yoga CAN make you sweaty and sore. But I think what I valued most about working with Jaime was her sincerity. Before we started each session, we’d chat about things going on in my life contributing to stress. She’d help me move past them, so I could shake off the day and be present in the moment while we were training. I’m so glad to have met her. I honestly wish we could practice together every day. I would absolutely recommend Jaime to anyone. Especially yoga newbies.
My experience with Ferox Yoga was a very pleasant and informative experience. When I scheduled a private session with Claire, she was very quick to respond, and she provided me with a questionnaire that addressed all of my needs, goals, and noted any injuries I have/had. I am a male individual in my late twenties, and I lift weights about 4-5 times a week. I don't have too much experience in yoga, and I'm not all that flexible. A few years back, I had spent about five months recovering from a lower back injury from doing deadlifts improperly. Since then, I've recovered, but I've noticed a lack of strength in my lower back which I noted in Claire's questionnaire. Once we began the private lesson, she assured me I didn't require any previous experience. We focused heavily on my form and breathing through many of the starting poses, and she showed me a lot of different exercises that helped to strengthen my lower back. Claire was extremely supportive and patient throughout the entire lesson. Also, her bubbliness and kindness are one of a kind! My first experience with Ferox Yoga was amazing. By the end of the session, my entire body felt energized, and I had gained more knowledge from Claire about yoga than I'd ever had. She was a great instructor, and she did such a great job accommodating me considering my lack of experience and past injury. I would highly recommend her regardless if you are an avid yogin, recovering from an injury, or totally new to yoga. She is great!

Wow, Alia has made me realize why I as a beginner yoga student need individual lessons. I've tried group lessons of 20 ppl or more and yes the yoga videos. She was very thorough explaining/demonstrating breathing, posture, form and etc. Then as i attempted pose/breathing she would guide me to the balanced form at my level. It finally made sense and it actually worked! Now why only 4 stars? Well, Alia has moved from San Diego to San Francisco without me, her favorite student hehehe No worries she had referrals for other coaches and I will definitely see her when I visit SF.

Regina was amazing to work with! She immediately recognized things about my body that I've been struggling to identify for years. She gave me clear and specific tools that I can apply as I develop my own practice and attend other group classes. I highly recommend Regina to anyone looking for a more personalized introduction to yoga. I will be booking again with her very soon!
Robin is a wonderful yoga instructor--very warm and kind. And even though she is very, very good at yoga and I was just a beginner, I never felt intimidated, just challenged and supported.
Mariana provides a highly personalized experience that makes me feel real progress. I initially started working with her because I wanted to push myself during workouts, but was amazed at how her focus on form, breathing, and nutrition have pushed me to another level. I used to think the formula was all 'no pain, no gain' - Mari helped me focus on new habits (like static stretching and yoga) that help me recover faster and perform stronger. I have been working with her for over 1.5 years and can confidently say she helped get me to my prime athletic condition. Cannot reccomend enough!
Erin is an amazing teacher! She is extremely passionate, knowledgeable and spiritual in her practice and I always feel really amazing after I work with her. She designs an effectual custom program for whatever your needs are. I have back/neck issues, and many times she has given me a personalized program that has relieved my pain. She has a strong understanding of anatomy and the practices which can strengthen as well as provide relief for specific muscles. I appreciate the meditative/spiritual element of her practice as well. My favorite session her (which was at night) Involved Erin deciding to spontaneously take our yoga mats out on the grass and do a moon meditation! So spiritual!
I have been to a few of her yoga classes and I enjoyed the class and teaching style. She is humble and makes the experience very comfortable and is very thorough with her teaching instructions.
