Tina has done numerous things for me over the years....Wedding decorations: Photo collage display, floral bouquets, my bridal hair piece and toe/shoe accents for the bridal party, and other wedding decorations. She did my make up and also sang beautifully. She also made me a hand painted wooden tassel holder and a beautiful hand painted custom bird house. Tina does great work. I originally had hired Michael as the bartender for my upcoming birthday party. I called him to discuss logistics, and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that his skills, expertise, and creative energy stretched beyond bartending and into all areas of party planning. He met me at the space chosen for my party, and together we created a thematic vision and layout of the space. He was able to balance grand ideas with my moderate budget and found creative alternatives that kept me within budget. The days preceding the party, he prepped the space, staged, and set-up decorations, so that I could enjoy myself instead of worrying about party planning. He also kindly jumped in to help me pick up last minute supplies without hesitation. The night of the party he helped orchestrate the flow, all the while making sure I always had a delicious cocktail in hand. The following day after the party, he cleaned up and helped remove the furniture, decorations, et al. All in all, it was a joy to work with him. He kept me excited and relaxed, and executed a fabulous party.

Had a Christmas Party for 30 people in my home. Food was prepared on-site. As guests arrived first and caterers second, the kitchen was full of guests nibbling on appetizers. Alisa and her assistant blended right in working around guests. The food was delicious! All guests commented about how wonderful the food was and how pleasant Alisa and her assistant were. Clean-up was provided, and they did a great job at that too. It made enjoying guests and myself fantastic! Planning for the event was seamless, organized and expeditious! When I have another party for my 50th this year, Passionate Plates and Alisa will be on "speed-dial"!

We hired Manya to do face painting, and do glitter tattoos at our twin daughters 3rd birthday party. Also, at the end of the party she dressed up as Olaf from frozen. My daughters had an amazing time, and their friends did as well. I would absolutely recommend Dazzling Streaks Party Entertainment to anyone that is looking for someone to provide any of the services she offers. Most of the children attending our party were 3-5 years old and Manya was very patient with each of them and just did a really great job. We were very impressed and hope to use her at other parties in the future.

Matt really helped us bring our vision for our "Winter Olympics" company holiday party to life. We had a general idea, and he was able to suggest specific decorations and details to really tie everything together. LadyMarry's DJ, coordinator and florist presence allowed our wedding to flow so smoothly. It was a fantastic party. Our dance party went longer than most, but we had no problem dancing the night away with DJ Garrett! Not only is he great at his work, but he's the kind of guy we'd invite to our wedding anyway :) We are really happy that we found the whole team. You will be too!

When we met Khadija we were half way through the wedding planning, and we knew what we wanted in our party but we still needed plenty of guidance...Khadija and James provided that and then some! We found Limelight Productions to be all we could have hoped for and more. Not only is their team very organized and knowledgeable but they helped us to think of things we never would have otherwise considered and they truly went above and beyond. We never had one e-mail, text or call not promptly responded to and at the right times they even gave us some needed pushes on planning and execution as our big day drew nearer. The week of the wedding arrived and Khadija and James (and Ayesha for the bouquet production) showed why they deserve nothing less than 5 stars on their reviews. They were fantastic and very professional, and our party was amazing because they were an amazing team handling things for and with us. Our thank you very much to them, and best recommendations. There is no way we could have had our wedding without them!

Velina is extremely talented in my experiences with her events. I've worked with her and been to other events she planned and been a part of. She's extremely professional, kind, and organized. He floral arrangements are stunning, her table arrangements are classy and elegant and she just has an amazing eye for detail. She's helped me with multiple parties I've planned including birthday and baby showers. I got so many compliments on how amazing both parties were and how all the details were perfect. Christina did the floral for one of my girls friends ready. She transformed the ceremony stage to the reception area flawlessly. Smoothest transition I've ever seen! Plus since the same floral arrangements were use my girlfriend saved tons of money and the flowers looked completely different in a new setting! So of course, I hired her the next day for my wedding! Christina is a creative genius! She is inspired by merely anything. She transformed my plain white cake into a beautiful one of a kind cake with her floral design. She also created a gorgeous garland to enhance my backdrop stand where all my guest got to take photos with us. It made the photos "pop". I simply told her my vision and she ran with it. Josh did a very good job at planning and making the party. I found him one week before the party, we communicated very well and the party came out to be great. The only thing I think should be better is food. I paid a lot on the food but it was not as good as what I expected. However, for a big party that has more than 30 people, I don't think I can make it without Josh.

I just wanted to let you know what a great experience we have a full house casino and events. I had planned and employee appreciation event and this was the first year we decided to do some gaming. The staff showed up early to set up, and Answered any questions I had. The dealers were professional, fun, and help people who did not know how to play the games. The party went off without a hitch! I definitely recommend using them and I've already booked a party for next year . Looking forward to it.

Jen, of Piper & Sloan, planned an outdoor party at my home that was a smashing success. The decor was all-original and handmade. The menu plan and execution of the vision for the food was top-notch. Our wedding was this past weekend at the Brazil Room, and we hired Jessica with Shine Event Productions to be our Month-of-Coordinator. I didn't realize that when we found Jessica here on Yelp, that we found a Fairy God Mother, Super Woman, and the BEST Wedding Coordinator in the entire Bay Area! I quickly learned of Jessica's capabilities when we first met with her three months before our wedding. Not only did she have the most calm and professional demeanor, you felt that you were meeting with an old friend rather than sitting in on a business meeting. I respected and loved her story - CAL educated and smart corporate employee leaves it all to pursue her dreams in creative event productions! Love! We decided to hire her for her month-of-coordination package. Leading up to the wedding she sent multiple checklists that helped us organize our DIY wedding. As time got closer, she checked in and made sure that we were okay, and we met personally twice more to discuss all the details. Additionally, she contacted all the vendors on my behalf and made sure I was not stressed out about anything. Furthermore, she ran our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and even stayed as our guest for our Thai Ceremony afterwards. This meant a lot to us because she was able to connect with my friends and family before the wedding, and they grew to trust and be comfortable with her on our wedding! On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly! Everyone said I was the least "Bridezilla" and not stressed at all during the wedding. Much of this had to do with Jessica, who executed the vision of my DIY decorations perfectly. I am a control freak, had a gazillion details, and really picky with how it would all turn out. However, I was NOT worried at all because I knew my vision was in good hands. Additionally, she coordinated with our caterer, DJ, and other vendors. She made sure everyone stuck to the tight timeline. Her positive and stress-free attitude kept everyone in the bridal party calm, and I was so comforted to know that my special day was in such good hands! I cannot recommend Jessica enough for her event services for a wedding or any other special event! Jessica is mature, talented, calming, and has the most infectious smile that will radiate your wedding day! Check out her services on her website and meet with her! You will not be disappointed!

We opted to use a day planner for our wedding and it was the best decision. I highly recommend Harlene for event planning. We found Harlene through a wedding planner who recommended her services. Harlene allowed for unlimited correspondence before the event and an in-person meeting at the venue location to go over details. Although I found the vendors and planned the wedding, Harlene was readily available during the planning process and reminded us of things we hadn't thought of yet. She was absolutely perfect the day of - knew the entire flow, potential issues, schedule of events, and looked out for VIP guests/wedding party. Harlene worked with me for about 3 months before our wedding. She was able to make vendor recommendations and seemed to know everyone in the industry in the Bay Area. Wedding planning is one of the most stressful things I have ever done but I had no doubts about trusting Harlene with the day of execution and it allowed me to truly enjoy my wedding day. The schedule of events for our wedding day was intense but Harlene made sure everything happened seamlessly and as scheduled. At one point I looked around and realized not only had she completed the entire day's to-do list but she added extra touches that make our reception look so professional and polished. Harlene was available, engaged and beyond reliable. Day of coordination aside, her being there throughout the months when I had questions or needed feedback was priceless. Asking Harlene to be part of our big day was the best decision we made and we cannot thank her enough. Truly a star event planner.

Where do I start about how much of amazing planner Yvonne is! Yvonne took on the role to be my wedding planner and let’s just say it wasn’t your typical wedding especially working with traditional families and a wedding of 400+ people at a banquet! First off as soon as she agreed to do my wedding, she wasted no time. She is very much organized and knows what she is doing. She had a binder ready for me, and timelines of what needed to be done. She asked all the right questions and got all the contacts needed such as bridesmaids, groomsmen, vendors etc. , so that it was easier on my end. She worked with me about timing, and reminders of what were important to get done, and what can be done to get out of the way so I had more than enough time to fix anything. Throughout my wedding process Yvonne would email and call me to remind of the things we had talked about from the previous meeting to make sure that I have done my part. She collected and finalized all contracts of the vendors. The day of the wedding, she was a rock star. She had timeline typed out for my day along with, making sure that photographers, hair and makeup where done on time and most importantly the limo to pick the party up! She had emergency kits, snacks; things that I would have never thought a bride would need well I needed it! Because of her great planning and organization, I did not need to stress that things were not going well because Yvonne was there to fix it or make sure it was done. She was able to work through the guest during our banquet so it wouldn’t get too crazy especially with such a large party. She prepared me and handled all the final transactions at the end of the night, so my vendors were well happy and well accommodating throughout the night. All in all my husband and I were very happy with the way things turned out for our wedding. Due to a traditional family, Yvonne very was accommodating and flexible with us since we were sometimes not able to finalize certain things for the wedding without making sure with our parents (being traditional and such). She was well aware of certain traditions, and was able to not only work throughout but understand what needed to be done for that part. I would say she did a good job without much help. She made it easy for me and less stressful for me for my wedding day, I did not have to worry about my dresses, or anything that needed to be brought to the wedding banquet. She helped me figure out places to take photos ideas of what I wanted so I didn’t miss anything for my big day. And the great part is she helped me stay in budget for the wedding if not, found multiple ways to save money on certain things which worked out GREAT!
