I had a great experience with Magnolia Massage. Jennifer is trained in prenatal massage and I had a very comfortable and tension relieving massage. I will definitely be back. Thanks Jennifer!
I was looking for prenatal massage therapist to help me with pregnancy pains, swelling and previous injuries. I did extensive research to find somebody really good because it was not just about me but also about my baby. Dessi has been simply an amazing massage therapist that is very attentive, really good at what she does, and I always left feeling amazing (for days). She is also very flexible with scheduling an appointment and has helped me out when I needed massage on short notice. On many occasions she spent more time than scheduled because she simply wanted to help me. My pregnancy has been really easy thanks to her. I now live an hour away and still continue coming to San Francisco just to see her. I have recommended her to many of my friends and family members who also left her sessions feeling amazing.
I was impressed with Sam. She was informed and thorough checking in with me before the massage, and the massage itself was exactly what I needed. My calves and shoulders especially feel lighter, and overall I feel less tense. I don't see a single reason to look elsewhere for my next massage. Thanks Sam!
I hired Lawrence for a pregnancy massage and I'm more than just satisfied! He is a real professional. I'm at 37 week of my pregnancy and that was the first time I ordered such specific massage. When I wrote my request I asked just for shoulders and legs, but he did everything - from head to feet. He worked so gently and smoothly, that I felt very relaxing after the massage during the whole day. Lawrence is very kind and attentive to his patients. Even the next day he messaged me and asked if I feel good. I highly recommend him and will be happy to hire him again.
Rob loves his job and is well studied and well practiced. This was obvious from the very first conversation we had about how he should customize my massage to me. But the massage was what really mattered, and it was outstanding. I highly recommend him; I will recommend him to my friends. Thanks, Rob.
Shannon is great! My wife had a pregnancy massage at home and really enjoyed it. She is really professional and makes sure you feel comfortable while doing her work.
I've received massages from probably a couple dozen people in my life. Xavier gave me the best massage + reallignment I've ever received. He is incredible. After one session with him, I signed up for weekly personal training sessions with Xavier. He is friendly, fun, and professional. Could not recommend any higher!
Angel was easy to schedule an appointment. The massage was good, she focused on the area that needed the most work.
Daniel was a delight to work with at our Wellness Day. Our team appreciated the 'chill day' after the intense project deadlines. He is relaxed and easy going. Some of our team, who have experience with massage, said that the 15 minute massage with him was better than some full one hour massage treatments they have received. He's really good.
Anatoly has a natural talent! He has many years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable. He has very positive and calming energy. Once you have one massage from him, you'll be ready to book your next appointment with him! He's the best!
I am delighted to leave a 5 star review for Teliah! Not only did she come to my hotel at what is a normally a pretty inconvenient time for massage therapists, but she proved to be such a wonderful masseuse. She has a gentle personality and is very client-oriented, and obviously in the business to truly help others. She’s a real gem! I felt very blessed to find her. I definitely benefited physically from her therapeutic techniques, and I fully believe others will, too.
I hired Bill after 6 months of severe pain due to impinged rotator cuff. I tried physical therapy and exercising, but was still in severe pain, was taking strong painkillers, barely slept, and was basically disabled. Bill designed a specific program for me. It included targeted exercising, massage therapy, and muscle relaxation and stretching using Yamuna balls. The beginning was typical: very painful and discouraging with no improvement. After a month or so, the pain was still there, but I noticed that the range of motion in my shoulder was bigger and I slept better. This motivated me to keep seeing Bill. With a few ups and downs and diligently following his instructions and program, I was off the painkillers and completely without pain in 4 months. Interestingly, after a slow and not promising beginning, the improvement was fast. I need to mention that Bill is a very patient person. I am sure I was not the easiest client. I had lots of questions and requests for explanation of and justification for the things I was doing; I am an MD. Bill patiently and politely answered them, even if I asked them more than once. I would hire Bill again without any hesitation.
My first session with Alex was, hands down, the most premium experience I've had. I've had more than a few massages and I've learned that, for the most part, the therapists have a predefined routine they've settled into and there's really no variance between clients. Most will ask if you want special focus on a particular area and maybe you'll get a few extra minutes of their routine there, but that's about it. Alex is totally different. He listened attentively to my concerns and goals for the session and put real thought into developing ideas about what the root cause of certain misalignments might be. During the bodywork, it was abundantly clear that Alex was paying attention to the specific needs of the area he was working. It wasn't five minutes on this should then five minutes on that one - it was the amount of time and work each shoulder needed. I'm super grateful for having found Alex and I'm really looking forward to continuing to work with him. For me, massage is about caring for my body - keeping it healthy and ensuring it's performing optimally. Alex's thoughtful approach is exactly what I'd been looking for.
Amanda has great skills as a massage therapist. She listens to what your needs are and goes from there. She makes sure your massage experience is the best.
Best massage I've had in my life! I'm a first time mom, and having a massage at home was a dream come true!!!!!!!
I came in for a massage to help tightness in my shoulder.
I have visited the fireside massage and I would highly recommend that you experience a massage. Professional and listens to your needs.
Best massage !! Nathaniel listened to my issues and focused on my problem areas. I walked in with horrible lower back and shoulder pain and walked out a new person!
Dale Fanning is a wonderful acupuncturist. He achieves comprehensive, lasting healing by blending his skill in acupuncture with a high level of intuition, patience and empathy. He imbues the Chinese Medicine view of whole body health with these attributes and the results are nothing short of fantastic. I went to Dale with a constellation of symptoms including chronic illness, musculoskeletal issues thru years of wear and tear on the body, as well as basic urban stress and insomnia. At my initial intake, and now updated at my weekly visit, Dale tales the time to get a thorough view of my health history and current state. His treatments consistently reset the dials, improve my condition and leave me feeling centered and full of life force! The sessions themselves are deeply restful; most of the time I fall into a deep sleep as the parasympathetic nervous system is allowed to kick in. This carries over into the evenings where I always sleep best on treatment days. Overall my conditions have improved substantially. As many people do, I regularly receive chiropractic treatment, massage, physical therapy for specific muscles/joints and have a great family doctor. Of all the things I do, the treatments with Dale are the deepest are always the most effective across the board. This is due to the very nature of Acupuncture, which is it treats the source and the symptom. Over the last 15 years I've received treatment from some of the most well-known and highly respected acupuncturists in the Bay Area and the west coast. I took a lot of care and time to write this review as I would never suggest a practitioner to someone lightly. I recommend Dale without hesitation. His treatments are on par with best in field, and in his own style, he surpasses my previous experiences. I understand he is working in the fertility field and have heard nothing but accolades from his patients I meet in the waiting room. He seems to have a capabilities across a wide range of issues. I say he gets extra points as he has gone to lengths to be able to accept multiple insurance plans to make it possible for the largest number of people to be treated. 5 stars for Dr Dale for sure.
So far we have met 3 times. 2 on exercise training, 1 for a massage. And, he is right on cue! I pat myself on the back to have made the right choice (for my first time ever) to have a personal trainer. I won't add any photos (yet) but, in a couple of months, (I'm sure) I'll be able to share the "before" and "after"...photos.
Samveda's massage session reflected a high level combination of skill, intuition, and sophistication. Rather than a rote, massage-by-method approach, I felt her own intuitive powers come into the various levels of touch, pressure, and holding that occurred throughout my session. Before coming to her, I had a feeling that she would be good -- but Samveda was not just good. She is truly an exceptional bodyworker.
