- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My company is a discount painting company, so I usually charge one hundred dollars a room with the exception of a combination dining and living room which is viewed as 1.5 rooms. Closets and doors are a little extra.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We go to the customers home meet them, look at the job prepare an estimate and follow up within 48 hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed with a professional paint contractor for one year. Since then I have worked for several painting companies and I have now been painting for 15 years. I have been trained in surface prep, drywall repair, and painting and texture coating. I also worked in general construction for several years so I have a solid knowledge of walls, ceilings and finish carpentry.
