Introduction: I am a private chef/caterer based in San Rafael, we specialize in private home dinners and small to medium sized events (up to 200 people) throughout the Bay Area. My crew is made up of experienced cooks, servers and bartenders. We often collaborate with other caterers, depending on the size of your event, and have access to a diverse pool of entertainers and event rental equipment providers to meet the scope and theme of your party, however intimate or over-the-top. We are always thrilled to meet your palate and general vision, of course, but also happy to provide some tried-and-true menus and concepts with a free consultation and estimate to meet your budget.
I have been cooking since childhood, spending afternoons in the kitchen with my mother and father, and working and playing in kitchens throughout my life. The being in the kitchen inspires me and calms me, and feeding people makes me, well, happy.

I hired Jake to cater my recent milestone birthday dinner for about 35 guests. It was an amazing evening and he took care of everything, including providing enough options for multiple picky eaters, allergies and dietary restrictions. Beyond preparing a healthy, high-quality and delicious meal, he's also a lot of fun to work with. I've had other friends hire him since then. Highly recommended!
