French with Joy Language School

Introduction: I offer a joyful learning of French. I am a French instructor who loves my work, and I have taught in the high school and college levels for over 25 years. I am credentialed by the State of California to teach in the community college system, and I have an M.A. in French from UC Berkeley. I emphasize a solid grounding in the workings of the French language, and I aim to bring my students to meaningful self-expression. I've had a lot of success with students who are shy or feel that they don't learn languages easily. Having spoken French since the age of 13, and having lived and studied in France, I speak with a native accent. (As a matter of fact, I particularly enjoy teaching students how to pronounce authentically, and often when they go to France afterwards, the French are a bit floored!) The name of my school is "French with Joy", and in fact, my students feel really at ease, enjoy the classes, and laugh a lot.
