I’ve enjoyed working with Fred and have been very happy with the results. I had been taking group tennis lessons, but was making slow and minimal results. The one-on-one time with Fred really made a difference and I’m seeing real progress again. Separate from the instruction itself, Fred is just fun to work with. There have been several sessions when I was so tired and exhausted prior to seeing Fred that I was sure the added hour of tennis training that day would feel like too much. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that after working with him for a few minutes my mood instantly perked up and felt a second bout of energy coming my way. I recommend Fred to anyone who’s looking to improve their tennis game and prefers to work with instructors that are flexible, easy to get along with and most important for me…fun to work with.

As a fifty something adult beginner student, I've had an excellent experience with Coach Odis Bowen's tennis instruction. He's great at demonstrating technique, and he creates a very positive and enjoyable environment for a lesson--always noting the "goods," celebrating one's improvements and patiently and creatively addressing those areas that need more work. Highly recommended!

Darren understands the mental aspects of tennis very well and helped me to develop effective patterns to raise my game when under pressure in mixed 9.0, singles and doubles 4.5 league and tournament settings. Very friendly, with engaging lessons that incorporate the right balance of theory, stroke practice, drills and game simulation. He worked with my budget and was even willing to do video analysis. He then helped me to implement his advice with concrete, usable, scaled suggestions that helped my 2nd serve swing confidence and also improved forehand confidence on riskier shots. Thanks so much Darren! Highly recommended for higher level players as well as kids and beginners. 5 stars.

Great experience with Julio - he comes early to reserve court space for us, works is hard during the lesson, and is flexible on timing for our lessons, which is great for our schedule with a 6 month old to manage around!

Fernando was really fun to play tennis with! He has a lot of energy and motivated me when I got tired. I dread backhands but he worked on it with me and made me feel more confident. I will definitely play with him again and would recommend him for lessons!

I’ve taken lessons from other tennis coaches but they simply don’t compare to Michael. He teaches in small understandable, incremental steps. The changes he made to my serve and my backhand were minor changes, but they made an incredible winning difference to my game.

Horea was a great and attentive coach. I had horea give me three lessons and I already feel a huge improvement. We focused specifically on my backhand and footwork. I now feel like people can't hurt me and I'm flying on the court now! Thank you for your advice Horea! Can't wait for next week's lesson.

I started training with Nate in the typical fashion – about 2 months before my wedding. I hadn’t worked with a trainer before as motivation to get to the gym has never been an issue for me. Tennis, running, spinning – lots of cardio plus a weekly tennis game was plenty to keep me feeling good mentally, able to eat & drink what I wanted, and to generally be happy with how I looked. But, as one does before their wedding – I decided to try something new. I was immediately hooked. Nate made strength training fun – it wasn’t just a run through various machines on the strength deck or run of the mill free weight exercises. He had me flipping tires, throwing down medicine balls, swinging kettle bells, pushing sleds, jumping on boxes and running stairs. Of course, when it came time to use those traditional machines or free weights, there was some sort of twist to keep it fresh. Without a doubt – my body changed – for the first time in my life, my abs had great definition and I found that I needed to log less cardio time as in truth, ti get the the psychic benefits of cardio work within a good half hour. I kept training with Nate after my wedding and through my first pregnancy. We adjusted the work outs as time went on and followed the rule of not adding anything new. I felt great throughout and was still running (or at least waddling) through my 8th month. I had a very easy time losing the pregnancy weight and I’m certain it was because I stayed fit and active through those 9 months. Though Nate left New York for sunnier pastures on the West Coast, we’ve kept in touch and I’ve been lucky enough to squeeze in workouts with him when I’ve traveled to San Francisco and LA.

Alex was extremely patient and encouraging. I hadn’t played tennis in years, and Akex’s lessons gave me my confidence back. In addition to being a great tennis instructor, Alex has a great sense of humor and made the lessons fun.

I am a 4.0 player and have taken occasional lessons from various pros, but never before did I get as much out of and learn from my lessons as I do from lessons with coach Eli. She does not change my game, but adds and improves it tremendously to the point that I am hitting points I only dreamed of before. She teaches by showing, less talking. For me it is easier to imitate than listen, one hits a ton of balls during one lesson!. I feel my game has improved 100% in only 2-3 months. And I am having so much fun!!!

My sons (10 yrs & 12 yrs) take tennis lessons from Dan and are receiving quality training from him. Dan is very professional and does a great job giving them detailed technical guidance and encouragement. He definitely knows his stuff! He's also been extremely flexible to work with when classes need to be rescheduled. I highly recommend Dan for tennis lessons.

Coach Brett was fun, patient, and encouraging! He explained all the moves clearly, helped me understand what to correct each time, and was very supportive when I hit well. He is a former pro, and clearly loves the game. He was also great about working through logistics and scheduling to set this up. I'm looking forward to more lessons with him!

Interested in lessons for me and one other person. I used to play tennis in high school but am now out of shape and have a terrible forehand. My boyfriend has only played intermittently and is a beginner. We're both interested in improving and playing for fun (but not remaining crappy and chasing after the ball for most of the time).
