"I have had a wonderful experience training with Anthony at God's Gym! He tailors each work out to my abilities, challenges me to incrementally work harder to build strength, but does not push me beyond my abilities or risk injury. Work outs are challenging, get my heart pumping and leave me with the "good" muscle soreness for a few days. There is minimal downtime in the 30 minute sessions, thus there is no wasted time. This contrasts to my experience during training sessions at other gyms. I feel that these sessions are consistently higher yield compared to my other gym experiences. Anthony, himself, is awesome. He is kind, patient, has a great sense of humor. He is VERY encouraging. He provides nutritional guidance specific for your goals. My schedule can be quite variable, and he has consistently accommodated this so that I could make as many training sessions as possible. The entire team at God's gym is very welcoming and supportive. A great environment, and an amazing community that I am now happy to participate in! Also, I would recommend that those considering this gym should not be "turned off" by the name if they are not religious, people of faith, Christian, etc. This is a comfortable and welcoming place for ALL people to train. :)"

"Man, where do I begin. Since day one Dante has always followed through on his promises. His words were, "in two weeks you will feel it, it four weeks you will see it, and in six weeks you will hear it!" When I heard someone tell me that I'd lost weight, that's when u knew I had invested in myself! I've been working out for years on my own, since I played football in high school actually. I know a lot, but Dante showed me a new world of fitness, and a whole new way of life in the gym. His workouts never repeat, and his exercises are his own. He's definitely a coach and a motivator. He pushes you! That's exactly what I needed. A push! I would never push myself the way he pushes me. I highly recommend him as you're coach."

"I've been working with Evan and his team for quite some time now and would definitely recommend them to anyone. I've worked with several trainers in the past at other gyms or studios but have to say this has been the best experience. It's obvious all of the trainers here know fitness and teh facility is top notch. It's a very welcome and low key environment. I've seen several people in their 80s train here which has been great to see! It's never too crowded and only personal training. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing instruction on weight training or looking to get into shape."

"Dima is very knowledgeable and professional. He is always positive and very attentive during the workout to help me use the correct form to make each exercise effective and to prevent injuries. He doesn’t give me more than I can handle but he also knows how to challenge me to go to the next level. In the past I have worked out in all different ways, from exercise videos on my own to fitness classes and gym memberships. This is the first time I have had my own personal trainer and I have to say that it’s the most effective workout method of all! I have only been training with Dima for two months and I’ve learned so much and can already notice a huge improvement in my strength, endurance, and energy level. I highly recommend Dima!"

"Baron is an exceptional personal trainer whose passion for health and fitness is inspiring. I've been training with him for the past 5 months and each session is so much more than just a killer workout. He challenges my mental limits by pushing me beyond the edge of my (perceived) physical limits. He thoughtfully fine tunes his extensive knowledge of fitness / body mechanics in order to meet specific individual needs. He is very patient with me - and if a new technique seems intimidating, he will take the time to explain and answer any of my questions. The type of kickboxing you do will determine how physically challenging it is. Combat or self-defense kickboxing, where you train in a martial arts studio with sandbags or spar against combat partners, can be an intense physical workout. What is kickboxing?

Kickboxing is a type of martial art whose basic moves are widely practiced in personal and group fitness regimens. In combat kickboxing, two competitors fight using four points of contact — both hands and both feet — unlike traditional boxing, where competitors are allowed to use their hands. Kickboxing training that takes place in a martial arts studio will involve kicking and punching a sandbag or sparring with a competitor, both of which will sharply increase the amount of exercise you’ll experience in a kickboxing session. What is a boot camp class?

Fitness boot camps are a heart-pounding way to boost your fitness level. Boot camps are led by a fitness instructor and are based on the concept of military boot camps — intensive workout programs to get new recruits into shape, quickly. Fitness boot camps encourage camaraderie, and the group momentum helps participants get through fast-paced intervals of cardio, isometric training, strength training and endurance drills. What should you wear to kickboxing?

What you wear to kickboxing can vary based on the setting. For kickboxing group fitness classes that are part of a gym’s cardio class schedule, standard fitness attire is appropriate. Athletic sneakers, pants or shorts that you can comfortably kick in without getting tangled or flashing anyone, and a top that allows for easy movement when punching and jabbing are all good choices. You won’t need protective gear or gloves, as most cardio-based kickboxing classes do not use punching bags.

Kickboxing training that takes place at a martial arts studio typically requires protective gear. You may need boxing gloves (beginners may want 12-ounce or heavier gloves for more cushioning) and hand wraps that protect and support your hands under the gloves while you punch the bag.
