Mr. Fix It
About this pro
Terrible experience. He came one day after a cancellation and said he will come back after he gets the supplies he needs. I’ve been stuck in a scheduling ping pong for the past two weeks with him. He just stopped answering his texts THE DAY he had said he will come. And finally today said that “he doesn’t work in this county” and I should find another professional. Such a waste of time!! I have attached photos of my interaction with him on text message. As it shows, he said he will come on Sunday (after many rescheduling...) but never replied to me on text. I wrote to him on Thumbtack at the end and he said he had to "power cycle his phone" which I honestly don't know what it has to do with this.Apr 18, 2018VerifiedMike K.'s reply
This customer canceled our first appointment at 6:15 PM and his city of Sam Carlos just 15 minutes before his appointment at 6:30 PM! His next availability was the following week at 11 AM and he didn’t even show up until 11:45 AM? He got a free estimate from me, our next appointment he wanted on Sunday at 7 PM? I don’t have time for this type of customer! Good luck and best wishes! Mike
Mike was beyond professional! I am clueless to the carpet cleaning world, but he made sure to take me step by step through his process so I really understood what he was doing and also what I was paying for. Our carpets were pretty heavily soiled from our dog and when Mike left, I hardly recognized the place! Good as new AND smells nice. I will definitely be using Mike again the next time I need my carpets cleaned.Jan 5, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Basic or general pricing that's simple to understand helps the customer itemize each and every item including labor costs and material for visual clarification. Initial fees are a must, inspecting all aspects of the repair or installation, then a very reasonable hourly rate or a general bid that's easy to understand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Meet and greet is everything, letting my customer know that the repair or installation or even a clean is very simple, also, giving a great price helps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I.B.T for; Institute, Business of Technology as well as carpet cleaning institutions certifications for carpet and upholstery cleaning and structural drying and drain cleaning as well.
