Yvonne was great from start to finish. So professional. Her colleague Rachel who was our bartender was amazing. She set up a great bar in the small space we have her and she did a flawless job mixing our cocktail recipes and pouring wine! It was my 50th birthday party for 25 people. Everything was perfect. This was a first for me and I was amazed at how easy it was to set up, and how professional Victoria was on the day of our party. I didn't know what to expect, but she was a pro, very courteous and seems as though she felt right at home. Having a server like Victoria freed us up to really enjoy the party. We had 18 people over and a ton of food so she was helpful in serving, replenishing, and cleaning. At the end of the night, the kitchen was so clean!!!! OMG! I hire Victoria through Drew in a heartbeat for our next gathering. Just do it and hire Drew. It's worth it!
Taqueria Cazadores helped make our party of about 100 guests festive and amazing. So many guests stopped me to comment on the delicious food. Evan did our bar service and was great. He really took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed -- very important at a location that didn't have any in-house staff. and with our event being held during an unprecedented heat wave! Evan and his crew made sure we stayed stocked on ice, sodas and beer -- sending staff out when we began to run low. He made sure everything ran smoothly so we could just relax enjoy the party -- and, of course, the delicious food.
Tina has done numerous things for me over the years....Wedding decorations: Photo collage display, floral bouquets, my bridal hair piece and toe/shoe accents for the bridal party, and other wedding decorations. She did my make up and also sang beautifully. She also made me a hand painted wooden tassel holder and a beautiful hand painted custom bird house. Tina does great work. You won't be sorry if you work with Tina.
I met Michael last June while I was at a Spa Resort in St Helena. He was renovating several of the rooms there and I was very impressed with how beautifully he transformed the spaces. We spoke briefly and he gave me his card and explained that he also did staging, interior decorating, flowers and party planning. A few months later when I was planning a 40th birthday party I contacted him to see if he could assist. Initially I was expecting to have him decorate and maybe do some floral arrangements. We met and I explained to him that I wanted to do an open house type event, in my home where guests could drop in throughout the day. I knew I needed to maximize my space and needed a menu and some decorative help. He said he could do it all, and I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive. He said he would get back to me and to expect an email. Within two hours I had an appetizer menu, cocktail recommendations, a detailed spreadsheet with a list of supplies needed, the approximate cost and places I could go to find these items and attached images of decorating/ staging ideas that he thought would be appropriate. I quickly realized that he really knew what he was doing, so I hired him to do it all. Over the next three weeks, he was extremely conscientious in keeping me informed of his progress. The night before the event he requested a six hour window of time to work alone, to get everything set up, staged and decorated. Then he brought me in to walk thru and make sure it was all completed to my satisfaction. I have to say I was very very pleased with his work. He said he would be back the next day to put on the finishing touches. But when the guests started to arrive he began showing them in, and taking their coats. He helped make drinks, maintained the bar and buffet table and ended up staying the whole day. He was marvelous and I had the best time enjoying my own party. It was much more than I expected and I could not have done it without him. In January, I was able to hire Michael again for a company event. Annually we bring in our entire National Sales Team to meet and review our sales, new products and host a special awards dinner. This year it was held at the Clift Hotel and I wanted Michael to do all the staging and set up for it. He worked with the hotel staff and did a beautiful job decorating the entrance with lighted balloons simulating clouds (our latest development) he brought in fresh flower arrangements for the banquet room and did little arrangements with candles for the table centerpieces. He even decorated the outside balcony area and the restrooms. Our CEO and Director of Sales were impressed and asked that I bring Michael back for our Holiday event.
Before I give my glowing review of Tiffany, I have to preface the review with a few words so you know that I was in your shoes. Wedding planning sucks and having to stick to a limited budget doesn't it make it easier. As a bride, sometimes you have to cut corners in order to afford simple things (or let's be honest more desired things) for your wedding. Hiring a full service wedding planner, was one of those things that I really wanted, but I knew it would take a huge chunk out of my wedding budget. My wedding was in San Francisco, so its not the cheapest city to have your wedding. But after receiving price quotes from full service wedding planners, their prices depressed me (adding unnecessary stress to my wedding budget woes) and when I looked at their packages, I just didn't feel like it was right for me or my budget. I had to take a step back, breathe, and take ownership of wedding planning and face reality. I knew what Id need to do, to stay on budget. I had big decisions to make as a bride, but I knew I could save a ton, if I planned my own wedding. So I thought hey I plan many events for my friends, family, and clients all the time, weve got about 85-100 guests to invite, why not plan my own wedding, and hire a day of coordinator to save money?" I did just that and when I was in the process of looking for a day of coordinator, my next thought was, "shoot if I hire a day of coordinator, will I overlook something and regret not hiring a full service wedding planner?". With caution, I started to ask for quotes for day of coordinators and realized right away what I needed to do. I put a request up on Thumbtack and the email quotes came rolling in. I was astonished. But I was in a conundrum - every price was competitive, so how does one choose a vendor over the other. All of them had amazing reviews (which put my initial concerns more at ease). I spent a few days emailing back different vendors, asking them questions, reading their reviews, even looking them up on Linkedin! I did some my research and eventually decided on Tiffany Won. Choosing her as the day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. 3 pieces of advice if you DIY: First off ladies, have more confidence in your planning abilities and use the resources the internet provides you (there are a ton of wedding checklists and schedules online to help you plan your own wedding, and for inspiration for décor or what not, pinterest was key for me). It might be intimating at first, and the time involved in planning your wedding might feel like an absolute time suck, but trust in yourself and plan your day. No one has a better vision of what you want for your wedding, more than you. Secondly, trust in a day of coordinator like Tiffany to execute on your vision. She's top notch and will be a valuable asset in your planning process. I hired her as my day of coordinator. I was a little anxious, but after I spoke with her on the phone and especially after I met her before my wedding for the 2 hour pre-wedding meeting, I could tell that she had plenty of experience in event planning and coordination. Not only does she have experience in wedding planning, but she has extensive experience planning corporate events and conferences, which as you know, could range from hundreds to thousands of attendees. My thought was, if this girl can plan corporate events that are large scale, she will definitely be able to coordinate my smaller scale event. She also asked the right questions before the wedding, which put my concerns at ease, since she is very sharp and it became clear to me, that event planning plays a very familiar story in her head, a story she knows word for word. Thirdly, stick to your budget. If you need to roll up them sleeves and plan your wedding, just do it. But call in some cavalry to take over on the day of your wedding day because youll need it. Make sure you go with a pro like Tiffany. Im pretty detailed oriented. So is she. I thought I had every detail planned, all she has to do is follow the schedule. You know what, she was able to catch holes in my schedule and my planning. She worked with me to double check my wedding schedule and everything the whole shebang from pre-wedding day stuff like what time the florist will set up, when will the lighting company get to the venue, advice or a second opinion on wedding décor, suggestions for additional vendors .even ceremony logistics such as where people would stand, the flow of the event, gaps in the vendors schedules and the wedding reception details like when the band would take their breaks so she can play an ipod or something so background music would play, helping with the mic transition from the emcee to other guest speakers, overseeing food service so there wasn't a huge gap between the appetizers and dinner, making sure I ate, making sure the groom and I did our table rounds to thank our guests for coming, making sure at the end of the evening someone could collect my wedding gifts, etc etc. Tiffany did a phenomenal job at overseeing every tiny detail the day of the wedding! My wedding went smoothly, the guests had a fantastic time, I now have memories that will last a lifetime, and this was all because I had help taking some wedding responsibilities off my shoulders, I'm so glad I hired Tiffany! Tiffany went over and beyond the call of duty and at a very fair price. Whether you hire her as a day of coordinator or hire her for full service wedding planning (or to plan any type of event), do yourself a favor and put her in your top consideration list. I would hire her again if I could. I will certainly be recommending her to my friends and family. And if you hire her, Im sure you will eventually do the same. Kudos Tiffany for the excellent work! We hired Manya to do face painting, and do glitter tattoos at our twin daughters 3rd birthday party. Also, at the end of the party she dressed up as Olaf from frozen. My daughters had an amazing time, and their friends did as well. I would absolutely recommend Dazzling Streaks Party Entertainment to anyone that is looking for someone to provide any of the services she offers. Most of the children attending our party were 3-5 years old and Manya was very patient with each of them and just did a really great job. We were very impressed and hope to use her at other parties in the future.
Five stars hardly suffice in rating the work of Rebecca and Anna Marie. My party was all that I had hoped for and more! During the pre-party planning they were attentive and sensitive to our vision for the day. In preparing for the party, their excellent attention to detail, ability to handle each nuance, and creativity in putting all the pieces together was exemplary. During the party they translated our vision by orchestrating each detail and transition flawlessly. All this was done with hardly anyone realizing that they were there. We explored several venues like restaurants and banquet halls before deciding to hold the party in my home. Getting ready involved moving furniture and transforming a house into a party place. We are so pleased for having made that decision because we were able to celebrate in an environment that represents us and that we know best. If I were to pick the qualities that best describe Rebecca and Anna Marie these would be professionalism, sensitivity, creativity and love for their work. Their positiveness and enthusiasm carried the day. Rebecca and Anna Marie know how to take an idea and from that create a celebration. I highly recommend using a party planner for your next celebration and AR Weddings N Events is the company that knows how to make celebrations happen.
Forsyth Designs was the mastermind behind the exceptionally beautiful and customized decor for our wedding. Matt's ability to translate our vision into a reality that far exceeded our expectations while staying on budget was the best "gift" a bride could ask for! He literally transformed a white tent into a stunning lounge-like atmosphere that accommodated our every need and desire. There isn't a large scale event or party that I would consider hosting without collaboration from Forsyth Designs. Working with Matt is seriously delightful on every level!

We had a small dinner party (10 people) at our home and hired Rainbow Chefs to make the appetizer, dinner and dessert. It was amazing! We'll definitely recommend to all our friends and can't wait for our next event. Highly recommended!
Exceptional. We hired Zach to cater and teach a sushi making class for 6 couples at my house for my wife's birthday. He was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. We emailed and spoke several times in advance of the event about what my expectations for the evening and the types of fish we wanted and what we wanted to make. He also give me a lot of tips on sake -- so I went out and bought several bottles of sake for the guests to do a sake taste testing He drove down to silicon valley from Sonoma, purchased the fish fresh from his contacts at Fisherman's Wharf, and arrived at our home later than expected but well before the guests, so we had plenty of time. He prepared 3 appetizers for us -- an excellent Japanese beef dish, a poke/ponzu dish and a scallop and moon fish sashimi dish with a coconut sauce. Then he taught the group how to make rolls and we each made several rolls with a wide variety of fish and ingredients that he brought. Zach explained a lot about sushi making, from how he evaluates the fish, how it should be cut, how sushi restaurants operate, what to look for at sushi restaurants, etc. His involvement in the evening beyond just preparing the food really helped make the party a lot of fun.
I came across Khadija as a very professional yet friendly event planner, and thats exactly what I was looking for. She has great organizing and communication skills. Her price quote for my brothers wedding was clear and to the point making it easy for me to understand. I will definitely recommend her for all the event planning. We hired Natasia for face painting this last weekend and she was a hit! The girls loved her designs and she even had matching stick on gems! She was able to move quickly through the line of girls and finished about 25+ in 2 hours. I am very happy with the Party Artists and would book them again!

I contacted Bounce-n-Jump at the last minute about a bouncy house for my son's birthday party. They got back to me quickly, with a reasonable quote, and fulfilled their promise. The delivery guys arrived a few minutes after the stated window, but said they got lost (understandable) They arrived to pick it up around 8:15pm--just after it got dark, which is evidently when they begin pickups. The bouncer itself was in good condition and the kids had a blast with it. The electric blower was very quiet compared to the gas-generator run units you hear in parks. The delivery guys were very nice and clearly hard working.
Barbara kept my party idea alive when I kept waffling on whether I wanted to do it. On the day of she took care of everything, including getting to the event ridiculously early to secure a great spot, and created a beautiful space on the beach to celebrate my birthday. I was so glad I didn't give up on the idea in the end. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted! Everyone had a good time and the cost was very reasonable give all the support she provided. Highly recommend!

She even put all the flowers in my arch for me and it turned out fantastic! She was super reasonably priced and I honestly can say she made my wedding day such a breeze.
