Mr. Arauz was referred to me by one of the customer reps at my bank. I was on the board of directors for the condominium's HOA and we were in great need of a tax consultant. Humberto was there for me the SAME DAY that the lady at Chase bank called him. He got in touch with me that afternoon, we made an appt. and he not only took care of us then, he has been our tax man ever since. We also use him for our personal taxes. I own a Pre School in the City of Azusa, California with an enrolment of 120 students. Ragi Riad was introduced to do our accounting for the year 2016 by my daughter, who is the Director of the school. The Accountant I had before, suddenly fell with a serious illness, and could not perform his accounting work, and was hospitalized. We contacted Ragi and made an immediate appointment to do our accounting work. This work was entrusted to him, and it was amazing to find him how he adviced about the work to be done. This was a tremendous task, as whole years 2016 accounting was not properly done. With his knowledge, on the subject to-gether with his work quality, professionalism, accuracy and punctuality we were able to produce a well done accounting report to be filed with the IRS. We were looking at moving up to the QuickBooks Enterprise software from QuickBooks Pro and we had several questions before we decided to upgrade. QbCure helped answer and transfer the data over to the new company file successfully. Accountant was not clear of his explanations or his intention. We had a difficult time with communication because of the language differences. He spoke very broken English with a heavy accent. (it was hard for me to understand him). He told me the consultation was free, that is the only reason I was willing to take the meeting. He did not tell me when the consultation changed for being a consult to actual working for me. I never asked him to review my 2017 tax returns, he said he needed to see them to get a clearer idea of what I needed. I received an unexpected bill.

I found out from my bank that the IRS had levied more than $4500 from my bank account for taxes that I was due. I work at a medium sized company with no other source of income and believed that my taxes were being deducted by the employer from the salary. Turned out that they weren’t and I owed the government an additional $10,000 in taxes for the last three years. The IRS also had an order of wage garnishment on my salary which would have created real financial problems for me and my family. The Legacy Tax Resolution was recommended to me by a co-worker who had been through a similar situation before. They collected the complete record of my salary slips and negotiated an installment plan with the IRS. The payments would be made over a period of one year, which was inconvenient but manageable.
