Hired Charlie for my upcoming wedding on September met him a couple of weeks ago. He was so patient to explain to me exactly what he provides on the special day. He is very creative and organize specially with his timeline coordination which I really love!! Can't wait for my wedding and experience with Charlie! Thank you again!
Megan was great! She and her team made it so I didn't have to think or worry about anything getting done the day of. From our first phone meeting I knew Megan would be right for me. I used her for day of coordination but I feel like I got a lot more than that. Megan made sure all of my vendors and contracts were in order before hand and coordinated the times for the day of schedule with each vendor individually. When it came to the wedding day everything was organized and went smoothly. If it didn't I would never have known :)
Jessica and her team were great. I’m a control freak but they helped me feel safe the day of my wedding. They were all very nice. They did a great job.
Rich did an excellent job bartending at our Holiday Party. He arrived early, dressed professionally, prepped the bar area, even ran out and got a few things we missed. He was very cordial with our guests and was knowledgeable enough to accommodated everyone's drink requests. Look forward to using his services next time !
Ricki Lewis at Special Event Genie did my daughters wedding and it was absolutely fabulous. Her total knowledge of wedding procedure for accuracy and follow up on all details was incredible and flawless. We were so happy the venue she found for our celebration, it couldn't of been any better. She totally understood the vision for my daughters wedding. Kept our budget concerns and even found creative ways to save us money. She went downtown to the flower mart and designed flower arrangements and bouquets saving 50% off regular florist fees. The flowers were amazing! She orchestrated the ceremony and reception seating and designed and set up the reception tables. She was there putting on all the finishing touches and more before we arrived to the venue. Provided a timeline for all vendors to follow which was seamless. Worked closely with the DJ and assisted with song order and selection. The event was a huge success and all family and guests raved about how much they enjoyed themselves, and how lovely and fun it was. The most important thing I have to say, is that the bride and groom were thrilled with the whole day and evening. They said it was the best day of their lives. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to use her services again for more events.
Crystal was my day of event coordinator for my reception & she seriously went above and beyond for me from beginning to end she took everything into her own hands all alone with no help. Every message we had through email was very pleasant and she always had a quick response I was never waiting for her response email I was always the one she was waiting for lol sorry crystal 😆 Crystal is very attentive and she takes her time with all the details. I basically gave her a box of all my decorations for the reception & she made everything so beautiful I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator thanks you JenEventsCa they really do have the best customs service I highly recommend this company and especially Crytal Shum as your coordinator!!!!

I booked Annemarie for my wedding planning services and I am so thrilled I did! I knew I needed the help and I could have NEVER have done it without her! She was so organized, insanely helpful to my family and I, fun, and such a pleasure to work with. Besides keeping me on a schedule and making sure I was having fun instead of stressing on what I needed to do next , she would approach me and let me know it was time. She made all the steps to our wedding flow flawlessly (food service, toast, dance, photos, dessert, bouquet toss). If it wasnt for her I would have been delegating and stressing my own husband and wedding party to make sure everyone else had fun. Instead I got to actually enjoy everything and have fun myself ! Priceless! She even talked me out of crying as I was about to walk down the aisle, which was a major goal of mine! AMAZING! She listened to my opinions and desires and offered advice when I needed and asked for it. She made sure I ate, which is impossible to do at your wedding. She kept everything like clockwork and with so much care and communication. I am so grateful for this woman! You are in good hands!
I was able to concentrate on other things while lexilou events took care of the decorations. They painted and assembled all my centerpieces for the baby shower and coordinated the event the day of.
Eventspell did awesome job coordinating my very very detailed wedding!! We had lots of surprises and set up for the event and EventSpell took care of the coordination. They spent extra time making sure all was well and the event was set up and all the way down to the clean up. The day would have been a lot more stressful, but Eventspell made sure all went well on our special day. My guest said it was the most beautiful, best wedding they have been to. I wouldn't have been able to make it all happen without EventSpell!! Thank you for caring as if it was your own event!!

Christine was our day of wedding planner although she spent several months leading up to our wedding day meeting with us in person and answering our emails. At first we considered not going with a planner at all to save money but with almost 200 guests, including children, it was one of the best decisions we made. Christine was knowledgeable, organized, considerate, and listened to our requests without pushing her own vision on us. She made us feel so at ease during our rehearsal and completely stress-free the day of, handling all of the details, coordinating with vendors, and keeping us plus our families on time throughout the day. Thanks to Christine, our wedding turned out even better than we could have imagined.

Karen is true to her company's name- a DREAM! It was such a joy to work with her, and having her calming presence around one of the most potentially stressful situations was a Godsend! We had a very unconventional ceremony and reception location, and she had incredible ideas that really saved the day- She organized and wrangled a complicated venue, all the while being so positive and calm. She is patient, structured, thorough, and just such a joy to be around! You can tell that she's seen it all, because nothing rattled her, and she had inventive solutions for every single hurdle we had: event flow, ceremony planning, venue snafus! We are so grateful and blessed to have this attentive, experienced planner coordinate our wedding, and you will be, too!!
I’ve worked with Above and Beyond Events for several corporate and social events - and can say that they are hands down the best event company out there. For my last event (corporate fundraiser) Selina (the owner), met with me personally and went over each and every detail, and thought of multiple things that I didn’t event think about. She is quick to respond via email, and made sure that everything ran smoothly through setup and execution of the event. She created a beautiful setup, provided lovely certerpieces and even coordinated all take down after the event. I truly can’t say enough about Selina and Above and Beyond Events, my expectations have been exceeded every time.

We hired Jessica as our day-of coordinator for our summer wedding in downtown Long Beach. She was priced so fairly, especially considering what others in the area were going to charge, but she is worth a lot more! My husband (!) and I are both graduate students whose busy schedules made it challenging to plan the wedding down to the details. We loved Jessica's positivity, support, and suggestions in the moments where we had no idea what we were doing (which was most of the time). She helped us create a vision for our wedding day and coordinated all the vendors. While most of the vendors were great and worked together as a team, our venue was generally unresponsive and Jessica dealt with them sternly, but professionally, to help us nail down the final details. She was available to meet in person and over the phone, doing her best to answer all of our questions and quell every anxiety! We bought several decorations and she told us to bring them in boxes and let her figure out what looked best instead of trying to plan where every little thing would go--I will NEVER forget walking into the venue and seeing it transformed into the PERFECT space. The lights, the tables, the centerpieces--I couldn't believe it had come together so well. The decor and the vibe exceeded every expectation. On the day, she rolled with the punches (like when our favors arrived melted). Her demeanor was calm and it helped me to relax during what could have been stressful transitions--from ceremony to photos to dinner (she made sure we ate) to dancing. I distinctly remember looking over during dinner to see her quietly fixing the two flower girls' "itchy" dresses with tulle. It was such a sweet moment, and just one example of how she went above and beyond to make the whole day great. We will be forever grateful that we found Jessica! She deserves all the praise for making our day perfect. It was so wonderful to be able to put so many details in her hands and trust that they'd turn out well. Even if your venue/event doesn't require a day-of coordinator, I'd really recommend it--and I hope you can book Jessica!! :) -Hilary & Ryan
Natalie provided us with an unforgettable experience for our farm wedding last fall. She is organized, professional, FUN, and was life-saving for getting everything together for our special day so we didn't have to worry about a THING. She went above and beyond for everything, I dont know how we could have done it with out her! It was my pleasure working with Katherine. This lady is extremely courteous, professional and caring. She and her team had created wonderful experience and beautiful party for my baby’s 1st birthday. We had a limited area for an event but Katherine came up with a solution to accommodate kids corner and adult mingling. Throughout the process we had an easy communication. Katherine listened and transformed our ideas into reality. She had coordinated everything from decor, food catering to kids entertainment. On the day of the event, her whole team worked very well together. They were all very CALM!!! I had a very stressful personal experience of organizing a party by myself before.
