JJ and I have started an intense workout regimen that quite frankly is kicking my a@%... but is exactly what I need to get back into shape both in muscle tone and cardiovascular stamina. He is at once approachable and friendly, he doesn't shout but will hold you to pushing yourself as far as you can go, and then a little more. If you are committed to getting into shape, I HIGHLY recommend meeting up with JJ. He is also extremely knowledgeable regarding nutrition and will literally answer any nutrition questions I have as often as I have them throughout the day via text in a very quick manner. I also really love the variety of workouts he has led me through: weigh training, intense cardio, interval training, boxing/martial arts... I'm pretty convinced he can do anything. Three things you should know: 1. You will sweat... a lot! 2. You will be sore... really sore. 3. You will have a good time through it.

I've had many trainers over the years and I can confidently say that OJ is by far one of, if not the best. First, he's extremely approachable and not intimidating. He makes you feel super comfortable and not self conscious which for most of us girls is critically important. Even though he works with top NBA/NFL athletes, he still makes you feel comfortable and special. He creates a program specifically based on your personal needs and goals while also educating you on some additional areas that might be beneficial as well. For me, I really just wanted to focus on my upper body and my cardio but he had a way to incorporate some lower body exercises within the program that complemented what we were doing. OJ is patient and extremely invested in making sure you achieve your goals. He is motivating without being pushy. But...he also knows how to push you to get the very best out of you. Lastly, OJ is constantly working on his craft. He's continually educating himself and his clients on the newest methods and most efficient ways of training, not a lot of trainers I've worked with do this. OJ is 1 of the best personal trainers I've ever come into contact with. For starters, your initial meeting is a workout created to personalize your strengths and weaknesses for future sessions. Afterwards, he speaks with you regarding your target goals, time frame, ideal weight etc. Meanwhile, he's compiling a special profile just for you in his computer. He sends weekly updates on your progress like: body fat percentage and weight loss/gain. In addition, he also sends motivational text messages during the week. I had no idea what to expect when I started looking for a personal trainer. I just knew I had to do something more than join a gym, and never go. Taking the free assessment session with Hugo was one of the best things I have done. You can definitely tell that he knows what he is doing. He is always well organized, hardworking, and dedicated to you, and your training. He's extremely patient with you, and always encourages you too. You are also provided with a meal plan that is easy to follow, and instructions for cardio training as well. In the past year that I have trained with him, I have lost over 30 lbs, and 4 inches off my waist. Not to mention I feel much better, and am stronger physically. I couldn't have done it on my own, and I don't mind paying for the help to get there. Hugo always works with your schedule, and is pretty accommodating. He truly cares, and wants you to succeed. You definitely get what you pay for, and it's worth it. If I didn't relocate up North, I would still be training with him today. If you want the best, train with Hugo!

When I first hired Corey, my goal was to lose 5 pounds before my wedding. I bought a package of 20 sessions so he came to my house twice a week for an hour each. In the first month I lost 4 inches around my body and 5 pounds. In the second month, I lost another 6 inches and 10 pounds!!! I never thought I would lose so much so fast because even when I was religously using the gyms, I would lose no more than 5-7 pounds after three months! Corey's workouts are at home excercises that look easy but as soon as you become stronger, he makes it more intense. I was supposed to stop using Corey after my wedding, but my wedding was two months ago and I'm not letting Corey go! Compared to 4 months ago, I have a lot more energy, I have confidence, I feel good, I look good, I still eat a lot but make better choices, my clothes fit me better, I get compliments all the time, I sleep better... Adrian has been working with him for about a month-and-a-half now and the amount of time and energy that he puts into my son is absolutely awesome. He has really taken the time to get to know him as a person, and what he needs physically and emotionally in order to train at his best. He created a personalized workout plan that incorporated the things I wanted to focus on: functional fitness and MMA. I want to let each of you know what my experience has been with Dan. I turn 59 this year and I have worked out with a number of trainers over the years. I call them counters because that’s all they did for me. They counted and I did all the work…no results! Then I met Dan in January of this year. I did the genetics testing as he recommended. Once I received the results he explained to me what the results meant and what I needed to do to get in better shape. From nutrition and cardio to weight training, he has guided me along the way. We started training three days a week. He taught me how to box as a cardio routine. Never thought I would get it, but with his patience and guidance I am now boxing and loving it… GREAT CARDIO!!! Weight training has been amazing! I have never seen results like this before!! I've been training with Danny for the past 3 years and I am now in the best shape of my life. I came to Danny after having lower back surgery. We started with basic rehab and slowly built strength and muscle to the point where I can resume activities I haven't been able to do for ten years. Danny is unlike any other trainer I've met. He is all about the details of training, teaching you the proper form and technique every step of the way. With Danny you also get a strong education in nutrition and exercise physiology. As an academic professor in the field of obesity research, I can attest to Danny's sophisticated knowledge of genetics and nutrition. So what's the down side? Brian takes the time to know you, your body, your limits, and what you want to work on. After your assessment Brian schedules training based on you and your capabilities. I have been training with Brian for a couple of months and I have noticed a big difference in my strength. I can do regular push ups, my biceps and triceps have remarkable definition, and my abs are on their way to rock solid! Not to mention the additional overall strength I feel in my legs! Besides her knowledge and professionalism, tentativeness and reliability (she is always on it if I have a question) .. her enthusiams and passion for nutrition and working out is awesome and inspiring AND her personality is unbeatable . In January 2017 I weighed in at 231. I signed up for a BJJ tournament and had to get down to 218 for my weight class. Jen put together a nutrition and training plan that got me down to 214 the day of the tournament at the end of March. That's 17lbs in 3 months. Jen customized the plan to my needs and body composition. Jen realized I needed more carbs than I thought due to my training schedule and I wasn't eating enough calories. Jen got it all dialed in and I couldn't have been happier with her service.

When I began my search for a fitness professional I had specific criteria which I'm sure most people do. I wanted someone who could push my limits and accelerate my goals but do so safely and without coming across as pushy or arrogant. I hit the jackpot with Chris! He is extremely personable, knowlegable and results driven. Without sounding odd, I might describe him as an artist creating a sculpture. He keeps the workouts interesting and pushes me while keeping things engaging and fun. He keeps tabs on my overall health, always has a great attitude and articulates our strategy. To this point I have added lean muscle mass and lost 45lbs! I would highly recommend Chris as your personal trainer and I expect you will not be disappointed!

I've tried starting a gym routine half a dozen times in my life, and this is the first time it's ever stuck. Chris was patient, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He took his time to demonstrate every exercise he wanted me to do, and kept me motivated through each of the 20 sessions I signed up for. Now, for the first time in my life, I feel confident enough to go to the gym on my own, and motivated enough from the results of my training to keep a consistent workout schedule. I actually look forward to going to the gym now! I'll be signing up for more training in the future, and recommending Chris to family and friends.

Chris is punctual and personable. He is calmly competent and gently motivational. He is also flexible when we need to reschedule, and he isn't at all flustered by the chaos created by our small kids while we are working out. The workouts he has designed for us targeted everything we told him about our goals and issues, started at exactly the right intensity for our current fitness level, and have been building up at exactly the right pace (not too fast...trying to make sure we stay in it for the long haul instead of flaming out). I'm really glad we hired Chris and definitely recommend him!
