We set an appt for yesterday Monday, July 11, 2016 and he was a no-show! When called, he said he forgot about the appt! Who handles their business like that. The appt was set on Friday, 3 days ago!Jul 12, 2016Verified
Set up an appointment, took the day off work, waited till about 10 after and left message. He calls me back and has no idea who I was, then stated he lost my number, then stated he was at another job 45 min away. Why would you double book or just not show up because YOU lost the number? We had already set the appointment. It wasn't like it was in question. Get my number again when you show up. It felt as if either he was incompetent or just didn't give a rat's butt. Use someone more professional and true to their word. If I could give zero stars, I would.Nov 13, 2015Verified
Refinished our redwood deck. Looks like it was truly done by a professional. He is very thorough in preparing the wood. Also, he showed up promptly on agreed to schedule. Fair price for the good quality of his work.Nov 4, 2014Verified
I've hired a few handmen in the past, and have not had as nice of an experience as I've had with Johhny with Surfline. Johhny arrived on time, worked fast, is very personable, knew what he was doing and was willing to 'go that extra mile' for me. To explain - I have an OLD house (built in 1938), and I called him in on a plumbing issue (and a few other odd things to fill up the 2 hour minimum - which is fair for any service person). Well, with old plumbing, there is always a risk of 'the unforeseen unknown,' which is essentially what happened. Johnny handled the job quickly and professionally and is very reasonably priced. As a homeowner, I highly recommend Surfline for any of your repair/remodel needs.May 28, 2014Verified
