Christine is an incredible resource! Not only does she have a fabulous sense of design, but she also has relationships with every resource you might need - from painters to electricians to contractors - in the Ventura/Santa Barbara region. She can manage teams and projects big and small. I highly recommend her for your next remodel. You won't regret it!Feb 14, 2018
Christine was extremely helpful when she helped us with our new office design. I'm sure we will continue to use her services.Aug 27, 2017
Christine did an amazing job redoing pretty much my whole house! I had a strict budget and she was not only willing to help design my house within that budget but did it beyond my expectations. She was organized, prompt and had a bunch of useful resources to find house items! I strongly suggest Designology for any house project, big or small!Jul 8, 2011
We were very pleased by Christine's service in our remodel. She was well informed, cheerful, and very accomodating. We had peculiar needs which had to be met, and she was happy to work within our constraints. We would do business with her again.Aug 27, 2017Designology Studio's reply
Thank you so much Wayne! I hope you and Rachel are doing well!
Although we are on the other side of the country and are three time zones apart, Christine is always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She turned us from frightened homeowners who know nothing about a remodel to informed and confident homeowners who are excited about the remodel!Mar 22, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always recommend meeting for a 1-hour consultation in which design advice and direct is given which is a one-time $300.00 fee and then I bill per hour. I can work on budget projects in which a design fee is set as well. Every project is different and I change the way I work to best accommodate my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start with a client questionnaire which gets most of the important questions out of the way, I then follow up with an on site visit in which I will take photos and measurements. Both of these help each party get to know each other and decide to continue or not. If a client would like to continue on their own they have at least received some advice and suggestions to get them started. Should they wish to continue, I then provide a contract and scope of work. Once signed the project really begins.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I completed my interior design degree at Santa Barbara City College and worked for another designer for over 6 years. I also gained a lot of additional experience when I worked for my family's construction company, a flooring & upholstery business, furniture & accessories company, tile company and landscape business. I also stay up to date with current industry trends and newest products to be able to offer to my clients. My family has also been in construction my whole life so I am very much use to looking at plans, walking jobs sites and the whole construction process. I design with all of that in mind not just aesthetics which is why my motto is "More than just interior design".
