- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is usually determined by the client depending on whether she wants a Fixed price or hourly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I calendar a meeting with the client to determine exactly what he or she would like done to improve their property. I work up, and submit an Estimate or Proposal. Upon agreement, the proposal is signed, the initial deposit is made, and we begin work on the agreed upon date. As new information arises I inform the client, and together we decide what to do with the presenting issue. Progress payments are made to cover current, costs of Labor and Materials, and final payments are made at the conclusion of the agreed upon project. Sometimes, we even celebrate together!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years experience in the building trades, and prior to that I've earned a Bachelor's degree along with a California State Teaching Credential!
