I couldn't select all the things to choose about Jonathan. It's great that someone can respond so quickly and be so malleable to an ever changing schedule. He was professional and we had a wonderful experience.Sep 20, 2020VerifiedJonathan Lawrence Photography's reply
Thank you! You guys are a very cute couple, I really enjoyed our conversation in the car from the hotel to the beach! Congrats guys!
Worked with Jonathan for a proposal photoshoot on short notice. He was very accommodating and professional about the entire process from the initial planning, the shoot, and the edits. Photos turned out amazing and would definitely work with Jonathan again!Oct 15, 2020Jonathan Lawrence Photography's reply
Pleasure working with you Danny, loved your creative twist on this surprise engagement! Congrats again!
Jonathan was so wonderful and patient. He wants to get you good photos as much as you want them. We're so happy with our photos and whole experience!May 24, 2020
I hired Jon to photograph me. Jon is an easy going guy with physical abilities that allow him to get into various positions to make great angles on the subject. We did over a thousand shots! He brought his lights and strobe. Very well prepared. He made me a flash drive. I highly recommend Jon!Mar 12, 2020
This is an edit to my original review - Jonathan didn't make our scheduled shoot due to an extenuating circumstance. At the time it seemed like a no-show but he followed up after the fact, explained the circumstance, and refunded my deposit.Nov 16, 2020Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I can work with your if your finances are tight. While professional photography is worth every penny, I don't want someone to have to shelve their entire shoot because they're a little short on cash.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first get in touch with you over phone call or text to develop the ideas for the shoot and establish a clear goal of what the end result is. The shoot is then scheduled, gear selected, and transportation & logistical details worked out.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been shooting hands-on with DSLRs for over six years (both freelance and as an employed photographer) and learned photography, videography, and graphic design both in school and on my own time. If you're a new photographer, take my advice and just get out there and shoot. Nothing teaches you better than actual experience in the field, as there's a lot of problem-solving and decision-making skills that photographers need to develop over the years through just getting their hands dirty. The best photographers are highly adaptable and resourceful, and can deal with any unforseen circumstances.
