I learned from her for two years and I absolutely loved it! It was so fun and I liked how we were able to pick out songs that we liked. She was super easygoing and I really enjoyed her as a teacher.Sep 16, 2020

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard rates are $65 for an hour lesson and $55 for 45 minutes. Package discounts are available when booking multiple lessons and for siblings. Dedicated students experiencing financial hardship may qualify for scholarship rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?During the first few lessons I get to know the student's personality and background and together we develop learning and practice goals and choose music to work on based on the student's level and preference. I will then supplement that with exercises designed to improve particular skills and develop the student's confidence so they can have more fun with the violin!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My training began with piano and violin lessons in early childhood and includes a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance. I have 10 years of experience teaching private lessons to students of various ages, as well as teaching group classes and leading youth orchestra rehearsals. I am also a teaching artist for local music education programs, and perform with various orchestras and groups in the area.
