We decided to go with Mitch after contacting a dozen other places and we are so happy that we made the right choice. We were considering replacing our hardwood floors since there were a lot of dents, but Mitch was confident he could fix the floor. Mitch did an AMAZING job and our maple floors look like they're brand new! Mitch is a professional who's very good at what he does, extremely detail oriented and doesn't cut corners - with his work or the products he uses. He was the only person we talked to who explained to us that he used premium Bona products, who knows what the other guys were using. He was respectful of our space and our needs (our friend was moving out of the house the first day of the job and Mitch made sure to work around him). We highly recommend him and would love to work with him again!

Mitch contacted me and scheduled a time to drop by and provide a quote. He provided good insight to the issue I was having and suggested I go in a direction I didn't initially consider. I had deep gauges in small section of my hardwood floor due to a mattress frame, and he suggested to putty the gauges. All my floors are stained the same color in the home so there is no guarantee that the stain would have matched. I was happy with the way it turned out and the job was 1/3 the price of what I was expecting. Thanks again Mitch!!!!

We hired Mitch with Mission City Flooring to refinish our 60 years old oak floors. The floors had some scratches and water damage. Mitch walked us through the entire process and provided options for the floor finishes. We appreciate so much his knowledge and professionalism. The project was done on time, as agreed. Now our oak floors look like new. We highly recommend Mitch for your flooring projects. Thank you Mitch!

Mitch did a great job refinishing and staining the original wood floors (about 70 years old) in our house! He was responsive and timely, and was very informative. He walked us through the process with regular updates. We are very pleased with the finished product and work he did!

Mission City Flooring's reply
Alfred, It was a pleasure working for you and Nam. I'm glad to have been able to work some magic on your 1947 red oak floors. The Jacobean stain is amazing and looks period to age of the home. If you need anything, call me. Mitch - Mission City Flooring

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Mission City Flooring's pricing is extremely competetive for its services. With over 40yrs experience, all work is done by the owner. Fully licensed, Insured and Bonded brings security to it's customers as a legitimately operated business in compliance with the state of California's CSLB Contractor State License Board.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check their Contractor License number. Go to the California State License Board website and make sure they are licensed, insured and bonded. If they are not - DO NOT HIRE THEM !!! Also if employees are on the jobsite make sure that they have workers compensation insurance. It's the homeowners responsibility - the homeowner can be sued in the event of someone being hurt. Therfore the injured party can sue the home owner for any and all hospital expenses.
