Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. He is incredibly motivating and inspiring - and he was so keen to help me as an individual and find out what would work best for me. I didn't like 'traditional' exercise, like endless runs or boring gym machines - but Jake could find ways to mix it up, keep it fresh and interesting, and I even managed to have fun along the way! I started working with Shelly Joseph when I was a freshmen in high school. I played competitive and high school soccer and had a friend recommend her for some personal training. It was probably the best decision I made for my competitive career. Her personal training helped me become one of the strongest players on the field. When it came to working out she really helped test my muscles as a soccer player. She kept my muscles balanced and healthy all throughout my career. Even when I was injured from an ankle injury she helped me with my rehab and pinpointing how we could make my ankle stronger. She is more than a personal trainer, she has a lot of knowledge from nutrition to understanding why certain areas in my body were hurting. Patricia was fantastic! I was in need of both energy healing and nutrition counseling, and Patricia was there every step of the way. Her energy healing was deeply helpful in clearing some past emotional trauma. In terms of the nutrition counseling, she provided me with weekly goals that we devised together to accomplish. She really worked with me to figure out what MY goals were based on my health history and to provide the support and vast knowledge to achieve those goals. Her supply of information was extremely enlightening and new to me, but she made it not only easy to understand, but fun to implement. I have had more fun working with food since I worked with Patricia. She doesn't teach you to diet and restrict your food, but she teaches you how to enjoy your food and get the most out of it. Most importantly, she teaches you to really enjoy it and make the best choices for yourself everyday. It helped me, a sufferer of frequent migraines, to lessen the frequency of those migraines to almost nonexistent. I can't recommend her services more highly, and I look forward to continuing to work with her!
