I've been working with trainers for about 10 years, and JJ is truly the best trainer I have ever had. He is truly invested in helping you achieve your goals, and he provides me with the push and support that I need. Instead of doing the same thing over and over again (like so many trainers do), he varies the workouts and will adapt the routine to my energy and strength level... all while keeping me on track and pushing me. Better yet, he's a great guy. JJ was an awesome find, and I have no doubt that I'll continue to see amazing results.

The workouts OJ from One Body has designed to meet my workout goals have been extremely challenging and a perfect addition to my current workout regiment. Hmmm... I'm not really sure how to write a review for this guy without sounding like a cheesy advertisement, but really, that's just how wonderful he was. I've been a long distance runner since I was 12 (I'm 26 now) and cardio has always been my preferred exercise. I've been plagued with injuries off and on for the last couple years so I decided I would give personal training a shot, learn how to sculpt and work out my body in a different way. I am so glad Manuk was up to the task. He sat me down and asked me exactly what I wanted to accomplish during our time together and what my long term goals were. He gave me an overview of what he thought the best plan was to meet these goals and always answered my persistent (and annoying) questions. One of my biggest problems with being in the gym and trying to convert to a healthier life style is accountability. I can work hard in the gym with Manuk three days a week, but it's the times that I wasn't with Manuk that made it hard because it was easy to "cheat". Manuk makes himself accessible to his clients. He encourages you to share apps such as my fitbit and my fitness pal to help with your nutrition, he encourages you to text him when you have questions... and I do mean any question. This guy even gave me tips on what booze would be least damaging to meeting my goals when it came time to go on vacation with my friends. The most helpful thing about Manuk, however, is how much he cares. There were times were I had personal things going on in my life that really affected my performance when I would meet with him, but he would be right there in that moment with me telling me he understands and encouraging me to use that in our work outs. And it worked. I, unfortunately, had to move 400 miles away for work and family, but I have yet to really click with any fitness instructor or trainer the way I did with Manuk. He's just that genuine (something I'm finding out is pretty hard to come by in this industry) and just that great.
Vinny is an excellent fitness trainer; not only is he knowledgeable in the field, he listens to my goals and designs my routine accordingly. I am very happy with my results which have not gone unnoticed by others. I have been training with Vinny for almost four months and look forward to our sessions each time. Not only am I gaining more energy and strength, my confidence has been renewed. I highly recommend giving him a chance.
when I first went to the gym Barbara gave me the complete tour when finished she said she was going to have one of her top senior fitness trainer :). a couple of days before I came in she called me and introduced herself and welcomed me to the gym. told me her schedule and checked mine with hers to make sure that it was good for me. when I finally came in Ronnie was already in session my fault:(, I was a lil late . she came over to me and started to work with me. she's very caring knowledgeable always looking out for me not to hurt myself and such a good hearted person and we're also from the same country!!! how great is that? Jim is an excellent trainer. He has great rapport, and he's very creative and inventive in coming up with ways to build muscle and core strength and stamina . So far we've met three times, and I feel 100% better already - fatigued but with a feeling of accomplishment. I actually look forward to each workout because I know Jim will help me meet my goals. What I like about Jim the best, though, is something he does after the workout. He just texts a word of encouragement or a thumbs up or a note on how I did. I've worked out with many trainers in the past, and no one has done that. It's a great way to keep this 66 year old motivated. I highly recommend him.
Worth every penny for sure. First, the facilities at Next Level Fitness are top notch and allow for variation in exercises. Equipment very well maintained. Lee is the type of trainer who listens to what you want to accomplish and helps you achieve that. I wanted someone to motivate me and push me and he was awesome at increasing intensity when needed while being very careful about avoiding injury. Knowing that I am a runner, Lee didn't focus as much on cardio. Instead, he tackled my weaknesses by focusing on compound movements and core exercises since I'm a beginner in strength training. In short, he is not a cookie-cutter trainer. The warm up and stretch routines he taught me have been very helpful in maintaining healthy and happy joints (specially since I run frequently). Furthermore, he helped learn how to continue training on my own beyond our sessions, unlike other trainers who just want your money. I feel prepared to hit the gym on my own for a while, but I will definitely be coming back to Lee. He is very flexible with his time and will go out of his way to accommodate you. Always on time, always prepared, very organized, and overall a pleasant person to be around.
LK Fitness has been a life changing experience for me. 2 years ago I started with LK Fitness and I'm healthier than I have ever been! At 51 this is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Laurie -LK Fitness genuinely cares about the individual goals and helps to work with your specific needs. I have a few limitations with my knee however Laurie makes every effort to provide me the same workouts-benefits regardless of my limitations! I highly recommend LK Fitness to anyone looking for a personal fitness trainer "who cares" about helping you and to live a healthier life style by incorporating fitness exercise that's right for you!
Kelly is great! She really cares about you as an individual and your goals. She's incredibly receptive to what you are looking for and how she can help you specifically. As someone who has always been involved with fitness/working out she understood my needs and listened to exactly what I was looking for. My focus working with Sean has been injury prevention and functional movement training. He has been realistic with our planning, patient with my progress, and supportive of my goals. I work with Sean 2x a week and his emphasis on fostering a culture of fitness has encouraged me to eat more sensibly and incorporate gym time along with adequate sleep, allowing me to build a fitness habit for the the rest of my life. First of all, its great to see Mami going independent. I am her former client, I moved to Chicago a while back, but hey, this girl really changed my body type from being obese to being in shape. I still do most of the work out that she has taught me and as she has done many sports such as gymnastics, martial arts, and dance, she taught me all the hard yet great conditioning that no trainers have never taught me. She is awesome, sweet, and super bad ass, yet she is hardcore some point because she wants to see her clients successfully reaching their goals. Thank you for asking me to review you, girl, and you know I got your back, and I know you will do awesome. I can see her completely successful doing on her own.
Carman is an excellent trainer. He has taught me a lot about personal health and fitness. He is motivating and very knowledgeable. He is great to work with. He works with your schedule and is understanding of other's schedules. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for personal training.
Working out with Frank has really kept me motivated and inspired to reach not only my fitness goals but personal goals as well. I’ve only been training with him for a couple months, and I definitely see a change in my body and dieting. He challenges me in my workouts and makes them enjoyable at the same time! Frank is very receptive to any suggestions, and is constantly making sure that the workouts he creates are tailored to fitness goals. Thanks to him, I feel more confident in myself and committed to having a healthier lifestyle—as he also provides nutritional tips as well. With being a full-time college student and working full-time, he has been SO accommodating and supportive with my busy schedule. I strongly recommend Frank for those who are looking for change, but need that little push! I started out with some resistance because I simply did not have the confidence and motivation. As Frank made me feel more comfortable and reminded me how committed he is to training with me and helping me reach my goals, I greatly improved and I’ve never been happier. Going into a plan with my health, and fitness goals was extremely overwhelming. I was slightly overweight, feeling depressed and had no idea where to start. I started talking with Elbert from Atlas Sports Medicine about my goals, and concerns. He was incredible to work with, and provided me with such valuable information with nutrition, and a workout plan to fit within my goals. Getting started was my biggest challenge, don't put off like I did. I can't say enough about this company, and my biggest of gratitude to Elbert!
Tara Berro was my first - and best - trainer the first time I joined the gym. She was patient, friendly, and knew exactly what she was doing to get me into shape.
