- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught makeup artist and have no formal training. However I have worked with the owner of Faust Salon in Scotts Valley for about a year now and I have learned so much about the recent progressions in business, products, and services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Reactions. When I was in 7th grade I did not have a Halloween costume so I found some fake blood and an old Halloween makeup kit. I came to our schools Halloween dance and everyone's reaction was priceless. The feeling of creating that makes me feel so accomplished and happy. Even the reactions of joy when I do a makeup for prom or special event and people are very pleased with their appearance. The feeling became kind of a craving, and that is why and how I got into makeup.
