Introduction: Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a young woman living and working in the Bay Area as a personal chef. I received my culinary training in Florence Italy several years ago and have been doing what I love ever since...creating meals that nourish bodies, tickle taste buds, and bring loved ones together. My focus is on transforming simple ingredients into delicious dishes specifically tailored to the needs of individuals and families who need to take a little pressure off the daily grind while still making sure that their bodies get the proper fuel. As someone who started cooking for her family at a young age, I have always marveled at the way in which a quality meal can bring loved one's together and it is my hope to bring that togetherness to you and yours. These guys really have it together. I doubt there are many other people that love to eat as much as I do but have so many things that they just won't eat. We are new to Taking Pure Joy but so far they have offered a wonderful variety that even I have been able to find things, and everything has been prepared right and delicious. This is truly a service centered group with exceptional people.

We have dinner delivered every Monday. It is delicious and healthy. The food is packed in reusable containers. No waste! The food is so good that my family asks for seconds. I'm glad my family gets to eat a variety of healthy food that I wouldn't cook myself. So much better than DoorDash!

I am new to Taking Pure Joy and am very pleased with the experience. The food is, quite simply, fabulous. The choices each week are varied and just happen to be my favorite foods! I especially appreciate the zero waste packaging and the level of communication from everyone involved with connecting me and my deliveries. This is truly a superior company!

Taking Pure Joy has consistently delicious meals! Teddy is incredibly responsive. It is also a good value when factoring in how much time we would spend cooking meals and shopping for groceries. We are really glad we are using the service and look forward to every Monday and Thursday that we receive the new tasty and prepared food!


  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I try to work within your budget. I am so passionate about what I do and I want to bring that joy to you. I believe God food is something everyone should enjoy regardless of budget

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Depending on the service desired I sit down with a new customer and chat about dietary needs, taste preferences and budget. From there, I carefully plan several menu options for them to choose from. Once the menu is chosen we are in business!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I attended Culinary school in Florence, Italy
