Nicola was fun to work with for our wedding/renewal of vows. I wanted creative, artistic shots, and had really wild colors, and she handled these well and provided me the color saturation I was looking for. Working with her was very professional, but she also has a great wit and helped joke with some of the family to keep them more comfortable during the awkward family group photos. She also arrived early for the girl party, which had some beautiful portraits of my friends, and managed to catch a few good shots of the constantly moving little girls as well. She felt like another friend during the wedding and managed to squeeze into a few right garden spots in order to catch the best light. Nicola was willing to work with my budget and worked a very long day, for which I am very appreciative. All in all, professional, fun to work with, and able to fulfill odd requests I recommend Nicola for your photographic adventures!

Nicola is a wonderful and very gifted photographer. I love the professional photos she took of me. She is exceptional in making her clients feel comfortable and relaxed. It is not easy for me to relax in front of a camera but with Nicola it was easy to stay present and relaxed and actually enjoy the process of getting the pictures taken. It shows in the great results.

Nicola is a first rate Wedding photographer. Her images picked up the joy of the occasion, and she took pictures without intruding or forcing the awkward photos you often see at weddings! The few formal shots were done efficiently and came out brilliantly. We, our friends and families, couldn't be happier with our wonderful wedding photos. FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This year I am studying large and medium format film photography to refresh my existing knowledge and brush up my darkroom skills. Last year I rdeveloped my studio lighting skills in the same way.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a childhood obsession, and a huge collection of postcards that I would examine and make up stories about. Aged 16 I started attending art college and began working with photography. I love how each individual photograph is a kind of meditation on a single moment in time. I am a people person, communicate is key.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Portraits and head-shots both in studio and on location. Collaborations with people who want creative pro-photographic images for personal or business needs. Weddings, civil partnerships, and atmospheric shots.
