Typically I charge an hourly rate but will also consider providing a price for a complete project if the parameters of the project are clearly defined.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My educational background is in statistics and my first position out of graduate school was as a research analyst for the catalog division of J.Crew. Growing my career in the direct marketing industry (catalog/email/database marketing) was a natural fit, enabling me to combine my technical expertise with my interest in and understanding of customer behavior, allowing me to contribute to improving a company's bottom line, through increasing revenue and lowering costs.
