- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions are 50 minutes long and are $150. Payable by credit card, check or cash. I offer Billing Statements for client to submit to insurance or EAP's, in order to attempt to get partial reimbursement. I can give you more information by phone or email. It's best to call your insurance company and find out what coverage you have for mental health services that are provided by an out of network MFT.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please contact me via email and let me know you are interested in getting started. I will email you back asap and will schedule a complementary phone consultation with you. We will have a phone consult so we can discuss what brings you to therapy, what you are looking to work on. I will give you information on how I would approach the issue at hand and tell you a bit about myself and my practice. This will give you information about if you feel comfortable with my and if we seem to be a match. Then we will schedule your appointment as soon as you would like to come in. Looking forward to it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Psychology from NYU and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University in LA. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist.
