The eucalyptus garland with just a hint of pink sprays were beautiful as the centerpieces and the other accent pieces around the room perfectly complimented each other. Barbara kept my party idea alive when I kept waffling on whether I wanted to do it. On the day of she took care of everything, including getting to the event ridiculously early to secure a great spot, and created a beautiful space on the beach to celebrate my birthday. I was so glad I didn't give up on the idea in the end. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted! Everyone had a good time and the cost was very reasonable give all the support she provided. Highly recommend!
Marshecka is an absolute treasure. Words cannot fully describe how grateful my husband and I are to her and her team for the work they put into our wedding. Two months before our DIY wedding I was really feeling the pressure and stress. My husband and I both work full time and were also taking 3 business courses, so the lack of time was really getting to me, to the point where we actually tossed a coin to decide if we should elope instead. We decided to interview a few Day-Of coordinators to get some help, particularly as I was worried about how the actual wedding day itself was going to go. Marshecka blew us away from the first email. She is so professional and courteous. She drove out to us for a meeting at a local coffee shop and stunned us with her organized nature and professional and warm demeanor. We knew right away we would hire her for day-of coordination, which is so much more than just wedding-day coordination. Marshecka immediately sent several questionnaires and to do lists. She kept me on track with all of my planning and preparation (I did pretty much everything myself, including planting all the centerpieces!). About a month before the wedding she took over coordinating with my other vendors and making sure all the friends and family who had special roles knew what they needed to do. She also came to my house for a final meeting to go over every last tiny detail for the rehearsal and the wedding. She even booked my beauty appointments and ordered and put together our wedding favors. Then, CRISIS! Three weeks before the wedding our caterer quit. I was shocked! I felt for sure we would have to get party trays from Costco and have 100 very disgruntled guests. My husband called Marshecka and she instantly jumped on it - she right away started contacting dozens of caterers to obtain quotes from anyone who was still open for our (very popular) date of June 20. Within days she had provided us numerous quotes to review. Crisis averted (and the food was amazing!). At the rehearsal she was fantastic at corralling us and our large wedding party (nine on either side) to rehearse the ceremony 4 times with ease! On the wedding day itself, she and her assistant were incredible. She dropped off some delicious sandwiches to the house where we were getting ready on her way to the venue. She managed all the vendors and setting up the venue, directing the caterers staff where to place the ceremony chairs, and set all the centerpieces out. When I arrived at the venue it looked stunning - better than I had even envisioned (and it was a pretty personalized event)! Marshecka and her assistant looked lovely and were just amazing at keeping the entire day on schedule. It was a complete dream and it absolutely would not have been so amazing without her! Many of our friends have said it was the wedding to beat!

Kendra planned 2 baby showers for me and a blessingway. Both were extremely memorable and special. She has an eye for detail and will capture the look you're going for and make it even better. She is reliable, and extremely organized. I had a hard time expressing a vision for what I wanted, but she has a way of connecting with you, getting to know your style and then making it come to life. I am so happy we had Kendra to plan these things for us! Oh and also, if you're kind of all over the place and scatter brained like me, Kendra is your girl! She is super calm nothing stresses her out.
I worked with Laura on 2 events in 2017- my wedding and hosting a baby shower. To say she is exceptional at event planning is an understatement! She can handle large scale projects with ease and organization. I never felt like I had to remember anything myself- she knew all the details! Additionally, she knew my budget and happily surprised me with many cost-effective options that looked beautiful. What I find Laura really flourishes on is her communication- she is quick, clear, direct and friendly. Her timely replies (via email, text and phone) both before the events and on the day of helped me feel confident in having her as my planner. I knew I was in the right hands after I showed her my event ideas and she helped make them come to life. She has wonderful suggestions that compliment what I had already come up with. Amazing! The spread at out baby shower was incredible, they never ran out , everything tasted fresh, and people have been complimented us on the food ever since. Thank you Ebony and your amazing team for supplying delicious food.
Christine organized and threw my baby shower. I was a SF Giants theme and it turned out GREAT! She was so creative with the decorations; from using center pieces filled with old baseballs, making a huge Giants diaper cake, hanging banners in Giants colors with the name of the baby welcoming her to having food like you were actually at a ball game, such as hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, cotton candy, etc. Not only were her decoration ideas outstanding but the games that she came up with were more fun then any other games I have played at a baby shower. She made it fun even for the men that were invited. Overall experience was EXCELLENT!!!!
I used Elevated Events for a baby shower and was blown away by the professionalism and results. The flower arrangements were classy, high quality, and even more beautiful than I expected. My only regret? Not using them for our wedding too!
Yvette planned the baby shower and baptism for my son. She did an amazing job!!! I received so many complaints. Yvette is extremely creative. When I walked into both events... She took my guests and I to another place. She puts events together!!! They blew me away. But what I loved most was that she was always on time, she kept me in the "know" and she was super organized. She is a joy to work with as well.
We had an amazing experience with Jeff. He catered my baby shower. Our guests were very international crowd, including a lot of real foodies. The food was excellent, everyone absolutely loved it. On top of that, we had to change the venue at the very last minute (from indoors to outdoors) and Jeff adjusted without any issue. We will certainly hire him again for our next event.
I asked Megan to plan my baby shower for me and it couldn't have gone any better! I told her a little about my friends (a bit on the wild side) and that I wanted something that worked for guys and gals. She prepared the perfect party complete with crowd pleasing games (tricycle races!), decorations, great food and creative drinks (Guinness floats!). She even coordinated a photo book to be made with guest's photos to commemorate the day, which I now look at with my son. I'll definitely be looking to her to plan my next shindig!! Highly recommended.
