I took piano lessons with Marissa - she was very flexible in terms of her schedule, and created a lesson plan around my learning goals. I've never played piano or sung before, but felt very comfortable to jump right in.

I have taken saxophone lesson from Zan since last April of 2014. It was my first lesson related to music and I never played Saxophone in my life. Zan is not only a good saxophonist or musician but also the best teacher I've ever met. He taught me not only how to play and what to play but also I learned why I play and how to enjoy playing. My younger daughter,Hazel married last October,2014. When I told Zan that, he suggested me to play a saxophone during the reception. I said 'What?, No thanks' because I was not even able to make a sound properly using the horn. I think it was May or June and I was taking one hour lesson weekly. But he kept persuading me that it might be the best gift to them and picked one song called "Hawaiian Wedding Song" And guess what, that was my first song played in public, at my daughter's wedding reception. My daughter and her husband Paul were so happy and touched that they have been to Maui for their first anniversary 3 weeks ago. I could not think about to play a song in front of many people in 6 months when I first met Zan. But he made me do it. Once again he is a good teacher, good motivator and good friend to me. It's been a year and half now. I am still learning but I enjoy playing. And I am glad that I chose the saxophone as one of my retirement plans and I am very lucky to meet Zan as my saxophone teacher.

My Daughter takes both violin and clarinet lessons at Harmony Grows with Carly and we couldn't be more happy. Carly is patient and works well with kids. My daughter loves going to her lessons. But what I really like is that Carly challenges her while still making music fun.

Tara was great, she works with a nice group of piano and guitar teachers and we were able to find a few different options that were a good match for my kids. She's very flexible, communicative and helpful.

He plays all genres of music with utter ease, with perfect intonation, and exquisite nuancing, As a teacher, Jeremy is gentle, patient, professional, punctual and masterful in helping his students learn how to navigate the intricacies of sound production. Mark Sowlakis has been an excellent saxophone and clarinet teacher for both of our sons. Our older son started taking saxophone lessons with Mark when he was in middle school and studied with him through high school. Our younger son began clarinet lessons with Mark about seven years ago. In middle school he decided to take up the saxophone so he could join the jazz band. Mark was able to teach him both instruments. Our sons always enjoyed their lessons with Mark and he really helped bring out their best musical talents. In addition, he has always been flexible with scheduling lessons. Most recently he has accommodated our requests for help with music scholarship applications and auditions.

I have taken bass lessons from a handful of instructors over the years. Ariane is different. She has explained things to me that I have either never heard or never understood in new ways that help me to connect the dots. She makes the lessons fun and always challenges me and encourages me to stretch myself while giving me to the tools to do so. Do not hesitate to give hear a test drive.

Chazz is one of the best Saxophone players I have ever heard. And he is one of the most patient teachers I've ever had. He really gets into the process and you walk away from each lesson with the feeling of confidence.

Anton is an enthusiastic, patient and totally committed teacher of saxophone and jazz improvisation. He explains musical concepts and techniques with clarity, often with an analogy to something in life that makes the idea tangible and easy to grasp. Anton has an amazing ability to focus in on an aspect of the students playing that might be causing difficulty and provide supportive guidance towards a solution. I always enjoy my lessons with Anton.
