Kevin is a great guy. As an adult wanting to take guitar lessons he made it very easy for me even though I was nervous about taking lessons. He allowed me to play the songs that I was interested in playing and his instruction was great. He is very easy going and never gets upset or frustrated when I could't get it right. His knowledge to change chords of songs to fit my vocal range was also very helpful. He also gave advice on how to improve my vocals. I would recommend Kevin for any age level for guitar and vocals.

Allie is a down to earth, experienced musician and instructor. I feel like she was able to quickly gauge where I was at and start the lessons there. After just a couple of ukelele lessons I understand concepts I hadn't grasped through a previous guitar class or music books. I also love that she includes my curious one year old and lets her explore the instruments.

I have been receiving guitar lessons from Dave for about 4-5 months now and it has done wonders for my playing ability and understanding of music in general. He is a super nice guy and an incredibly persistent instructor. He is both encouraging and rigorous; a great combination that has yielded fantastic results for me personally. Such a patient guy too, great with younger musicians who may just be starting out. Highly recommend you check him out if you're looking to get into guitar, piano, mandolin or ukelele; first lesson is free, so see for yourself if he might be a good fit for you.

I have a 10 year old daughter who has recently taken an interest in guitar. Santa Rosa has several places to choose from in regards to music lessons and we are very pleased to have found Dave. As a parent it is very important to find an instructor who is, not only knowledgeable & patient but also engaging & creative. After meeting with a couple of music teachers & inquiring for months on rates, I started feeling completely overwhelmed with over the top prices! It was a relief to find Dave. He is the owner of “Music Biz” in Santa Rosa where he also gives music lessons. On our first meeting Dave was very sweet & courteous. He asked my daughter what music she enjoyed listening to & what she would eventually like to play. My daughter said, “Taylor Swift”, Dave pulled out his iPad looked up one of her songs & began to play “You Belong With Me” on his guitar. My daughter was so surprised & excited, she turned to look at me and said, “I want him to teach me guitar!” It was this first encounter that made me feel confident that Dave was a good fit for my daughter. Dave keeps my daughter interested in guitar by teaching her the fundamentals while exposing her to a variety of music genres. She has been taking lessons with Dave for a little over 2 months & has enjoyed every minute. I would definitely recommend Dave as a music teacher to all my friends & family.

Cherie is a great instructor. Before I started lessons with her I was trying to teach myself and found that I’d hit a wall, just wasn’t getting where I wanted to be, she helped me out of that rut. She opened up my options by laying down the basics, then expanded my palette based on where I wanted to go with songs and guitar. She likes to balance what she calls the weigh-lifting of guitar and the fun stuff - exercises and songs. I never felt bored or very frustrated. She pays attention. I really felt she was teaching me what I needed to learn. She also teaches singing lessons and we worked a bit on my vocals during our guitar lessons. Was a nice add-on. She’s a pro and very easy to work with.

I learned a lot from these music lessons, and I have come a long way from when I first started taking lessons. I can really notice the improvement, in the way I sound and the advanced techniques I am using to play. Furthermore, Rob is a very kind and patient teacher, who will do whatever it takes to help his students succeed. I would recommend taking lessons from Rob to any level guitar player, who wants to learn how to play or improve his/her knowledge of music.

I have taken bass lessons from a handful of instructors over the years. Ariane is different. She has explained things to me that I have either never heard or never understood in new ways that help me to connect the dots. She makes the lessons fun and always challenges me and encourages me to stretch myself while giving me to the tools to do so. Do not hesitate to give hear a test drive.

I have been taking lessons from Josh for about a year now (for guitar). He really makes guitar lessons fun, but teaches you a lot at the same time. He doesn't make you do crazy amounts of work either. He's very flexible when it comes to what you want to learn: he let's you bring your own music in, and he is very knowledgeable about different genres as well. I always am looking forward to the next lesson. The best environment for learning music is when you can just freely play with your friend or someone you are comfortable with...that's the environment Josh creates in his lessons, a jam session!! I would strongly recommend Josh to anyone looking for guitar/ukelele lessons! Thanks Josh!

I've never been musically inclined, and he found the instrument that I could easily learn on, then taught me to play in terms even I could understand. Thanks Mike!
