- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We bill weekly, based on milestones, or based on the project. We are able to offer build plans, project plans, and maintenance plans. Every project is different. Sometimes we are able to take a web application specification that might be very expensive and time consuming to build, and research options to leverage existing technology or prioritize functions to make it more affordable or phase out a build. Other times it's worth the investment to just go for it in the first version.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always trying to keep up to date with relevant technologies. If we're not familiar enough with a language or platform for a specific project, we'll bring in an expert. Or do our best to become experts. We're using the most recent release of WordPress on new client sites and learning the new features it offers. One developer recently took a Magento developer course. Our main project manager is learning After Effects in her off time (for fun?!).
