At the beginning I was very happy with Gabor and his team. I did feel like they were not paying total attention to what I pointed out was wrong with my lamp for example, I mentioned to Gabor that the wires or a contact were most likely causing the problem but he moved the light bulbs and apparently it started working again. Just a few hours after they left the lamp was bad again. So I paid for something I already knew and the problem was not solved. Same thing happened with a closet door they tried to fix for me. I told them it was broken on one side, they didn't see it the 1st time so I make sure to show them the 2nd time, I provided glue and everything a previous handyman used to fix other of my doors with that same problem. They "fixed" it but the day after the door was even worse. Then they told me that the damage was too big (they didn't mention that before) so I had to get a new door and the labor to put it in the closet would cost me $80. So I paid to get my door fixed, it got worse so now I have to pay to get a new one plus labor? Doesn't seem fair. So far I have paid $200, my bathroom door is fixed but the other 2 problems are still the same or even worse. I pointed out this to Gabor but he is not replying to my texts anymore. Another thing is that the 2nd time they went to my house they knew what they were going to need to do the repairs, but still I had to provide most of the tools: glue, brush, caulk, etc. This last one I didn't have and was advised to get so I could apply it by myself, since I quote one of Gabor's team members: "I didn't know that we were going to take the door out, if not I would have brought everything", the rest of the team knew though because they told me the 1st time. We also had some issues with punctuality. I can see they are good people but I can't say I'm happy with what they did since I'm pretty much at the same place (or worse) but with $200 less.Oct 3, 2019Verified
