Steven was very professional when we spoke for the first time on the phone. I have rather awkward working hours because my work consists of a lot of writing, which I like to do at night time, so Steven was able to speak with me for as long as I needed at a late hour in the evening. We've put together a plan for our content strategy on my blog, and it's going to be awesome. I can tell I'm in good hands. Thank you Steven.

I had a resume that I knew was too long and disorganized. I met with Norm and he asked me about my work history and accomplishments. He was really good - he asked me questions that I would never have thought about including on a resume, and did a great job of getting the info that made me look really special. He's real easy to deal with - has a knack of making you feel relaxed while he's asking probing questions. I thought I was pretty good at interviewing, but he pointed out some things I said that were not the right things to say in an interview. He says he's bee doing resumes for 20 years, and it shows - he really knows his stuff. Highly recommended - he did a really great job.

She is great! I was in need of a SAT english tutor in order to compete for a spot at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She showed up on time and if needed would stay extra to make sure I actually improved. I was extremely confident heading into my test and was accepted into West Point. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of any help with english. In addition, she helped me with writing a letter to West Point on why I want to attend. She is great!!!

I have known Ms. Glass for years. I attended one of her writing workshops and learned a lot. In addition, I hired her to write a PR piece for me. Very knowledgeable and generously shares her knowledge. Contact her for your writing needs. You won't be disappointed.

As a teacher and instructional consultant, I can honestly say that Manda definitely knows how to teach reading, comprehension, spelling and writing. She also has the unique ability to frame/organize the content of difficult courses, such as chemistry and calculus so that students can easily grasp it successfully. It is evident that she deeply cares for each individual student and I can attest to the success she has had with her students in regards to personal, as well as academic growth. She is an excellent tutor!

Ella spent months with my aunt, writing her memoir. She collected all of her emails, photos, and documents, did the research and carried her voice through the whole manuscript. For now, we're keeping it in the family, but it will be a family heirloom for generations to come.

Marie has tutored my boys once a week for the past several months. She has shown patience in teaching proper grammar, while at the same time, has stretched their skill and ability . Although my sons (4th and 6th grade) receive high marks in school in language arts and writing, my wife and I found ourselves often disappointed with the final drafts of their writing assignments. Their basic grammar and writing skills were not being developed in the traditional classroom (then again, quite difficult for teachers to create individual lessons with class sizes of 25+ students). This past summer we sought out help on Thumbtack and fortunately found Marie Woodruff. Marie is both supportive and demanding. Each session Marie challenges both sons and both leave each session feeling more confident. My wife and I are very satisfied as Marie teaches to an individual's skill level and not an arbitrary grade/lesson level. If your son's/daughter's writing assignments are not meeting your expectations, give Marie a call.

About

My primary focus of writing is the Economy, Real Estate and Equity Markets - and how they interconnect. I have closely followed the Equity Markets for thirty years - it seems far more than most not working on Wall Street - and have developed a great passion for writing on the above noted subject matter. I believe I present a very interesting viewpoint - though often contrarian in nature. I also have a great love of writing movie reviews. Similar to my economic pieces, I seem to find hidden movie gems that are often unrecognized by the main street media and film critics. Consequently, I feel my writing - if nothing else - provides great food for thought (as I rarely follow the status quo line of thinking).
