Eden is amazing! She has in depth knowledge of pilates and the human anatomy. She pays detailed attention to form and adjusts the exercises to fit the need. My husband is using her as pilates instructor and I am using her as a massage therapist. We both feel we are in very professional hands! I have back issues and she knows exactly which areas need attention.

Lauren is THE BEST pilates instructor in Los Angeles. I take pilates at several different studios around LA and I have yet to find an instructor who continuously challenges me in every single class. Lauren changes each class and I am sore after taking her pilates class. She is very technical, hands on, attentive, and professional. In fact, I follow her to different studios because I enjoy her classes so much! I would recommend Lauren for a beginner to advanced student. She never disappoints and makes me sweat in every class.

Rene is the best! She's confident in her work and really pays attention to how pilates can work for you. She's very caring, very sweet, and responsive to your needs and questions! I have a background in dance, acrobatics, and yoga, and after having taken pilates only twice I have gained much more body awareness with her privates! Definitely worth it.

David is hands down the best pilates instructor I've ever worked with! He is extremely knowledgable about the body and knows exactly how to tailor exercises to meet individual needs. I had a very serious back injury and working consistently with David has greatly improved my mobility, strength, and I now have zero pain. His energy and enthusiasm shines in how he teaches and is truly contagious. I highly recommend David!

The training at Zoe: A Pilates Studio is as good as it gets. The teachers are all well-trained in the method, addressing client injuries/limitations, and they have great instincts on when to add new exercises to the routine. I've had to accommodate several changes to my workouts over the years due to injury from other activities, and their guidance always keeps me moving and working out hard while protecting me from further injury. The studio space itself is very cool and there's ample space to work comfortably even with numerous clients in house.

I am a professional violinist, and have been playing for 26 years. In this time, I have developed issues with my posture and which could lead to long term negative effects and perhaps hinder my career. I specifically requested Tatiana for a physical assessment due to her expertise in posture alignment, as proper evaluation is critical for performing artists. After a thorough assessment, she has developed an extremely detailed short and long term program, where exercises are adjusted for performing artists, making sure that my joints and wrists are not under too much strain. I notices that our weekly sessions (I take 3-4 sessions per week) are never the same, and every session is a challenge measured to my abilities. I have also addressed arm pains I've had lately from practicing and strain. This issues has also been resolved. She has given me a series of exercises that I can do at home using only the 'pilates ring' and the 'terra bands' with various resistance levels. Ive only been taking sessions for 3 weeks, and already we have done plenty of exercises using the Mat, Reformer and Cadillac. Her designed program has already helped me improve my muscle tone. I am certainly much more flexible, and I built muscle strength. She is highly qualified and extremely professional and serious about the art of Pilates. This is a quality I highly respect and value, so given her abilities and based on my personal results and experience, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve the health of their lifestyle.

My husband and I take pilates with Fleur every week. The workouts are always varied, challenging and meet both of our needs. It's so great to have an exercise that we can do together and that we both feel satisfied at the end of it. Fleur is super knowledge and personable. Two thumbs up from us!

Having nearly 4 decades of regular workout experience that spans from youth / high school organized athletics to personal cardio, strength, daily stretching, I didn’t really know what to expect when trying Pilates for the first time. I learned within the first 5 minutes of my first session with Jasmine how important it is to have an experienced trainer to get the most out a Pilates session… and just to see how to properly use the apparatus! This coming from someone who has never used a personal trainer prior, and vowed to never need one prior to trying Pilates. Jasmine is extremely knowledgeable in classic Pilates and her calm, clear teaching technique shines. I’ve had 2 sessions with her so far and have a 3rd booked. She was extremely in tune with me during each session focusing, most importantly, on making sure that I’m using correct form to the best of my ability for each exercise to ensure I’m getting the most out of each motion. I’m an avid golfer as well and can already tell how the balance, strength and flexibility that Pilates can offer will help in preventing some of the nagging injuries that can occur from regular play.

About

Rachel's Personal Pilates was created to make the client feel at home, instead of lost in a group setting, neglected by the instructor. Whether it be to lose weight, tone, or rehabilitate an injury, I strive to personalize each session for the individual's needs. I received my certification from Sheppard Method Pilates under Risa Sheppard, who studied with Ron Fletcher, one of Joseph Pilates's original five students. My style combines classical Pilates technique with a fusion of aerobic and cardiovascular exercises to challenge the body through muscle confusion. Unlike the SPX classes that are popping up all over Los Angeles, I strive to challenge the body while staying conscious of alignment and muscle fatigue. Currently, I am offering a new client special for $20, which consist of an introductory private reformer class and a complimentary mat class.

About

In this pilates studio, you can enjoy a one-on-one session, or feel free to bring your other half or a friend for a couple's session. The Pilates practice has been helping people for over 90 years. Created by Joseph Pilates, it comprises a series of controlled movements designed to create a flexible, strong and adaptable body and engage the body with the mind. Pilates is a non-impact series of exercises that are focused on the deep muscles of the spine and abdomen. It tightens and strengthens the muscles of the abdomen while protecting your lower back, aiding in injury prevention and spinal health.

About

I was first introduced to Pilates at the age of 16. I received my certification through Romana's Pilates in 2011, and I am a 3rd-generation instructor with a training lineage stemming directly from the founder of Pilates, Joseph Pilates. I worked and studied at a Pilates certification center in Chicago and had the opportunity to study with many master professionals of the Pilates method. Most of my experience is working with individuals with goals of losing weight, body toning and increasing flexibility and strength. My wide array of clientele includes individuals who turn to Pilates as part of a post-rehab regimen, as well as athletes and physically active individuals who turn to Pilates to improve their athletic abilities, return to their activities post injury or looking to utilize Pilates to remain injury free. I am also a TRX qualified trainer and Indo Row certified instructor.

About

Desiredface is offering two different types of services to clients: European Facial Workout® and Pilates reformer. Both services will be provided in one-on-one, customized sessions designed specifically for the client. The services are by appointment only. Be the best version of you! European Facial Workout® is the new anti-aging trend in the US. It is an incredibly effective muscle resistance training method based on anatomy, physiology and kinesiology. Only isometric facial exercises can truly strengthen and increase muscles fibers in the face, which will smooth out sagging and aging skin by restoring the original length and tone of the facial muscles. Over time, as the muscles become stronger, the face regains its original young-looking contour. Some other benefits of facial exercises are improved blood circulation and stimulation of the lymph function. During our training sessions, clients not only learn how to activate facial muscles, they also receive the additional bonus of a face massage and a stimulation of more than 60 acupressure points of the face. The improvement of facial appearance is not about quick fixes and piling on expensive creams. It's about dedicating the time and cultivating a lifestyle around health and strength. The European Facial Workout® seeks to provide people with a truly satisfying experience that improves their daily lives with confidence. Home sessions are offered too. The Intelligent Workout: Pilates helps develop long, strong, muscles, improve posture, and increase flexibility. Our Pilates sessions are built around the following 8 principles: * concentration * centering * control * breathing * precision * stamina * flowing movements * relaxation These principles are the reason why my Pilates reformer program has worked so well for so many individuals. Many of my clients especially benefit from Pilates after an orthopedic surgery since it helps regain mobility in the joints and rebuild atrophied skeletal muscles. Moreover, my sessions place importance on specialized breathing techniques which help to oxygenate the body and thereby speed up the healing process after medical problems. No home sessions, this is offered only at the studio. Both of these services are aimed not just to tone the body and the face but also to increase self-confidence by helping people feel better about themselves.
