My husband and I are extremely happy that we picked Sybex Studios to do our photography and filming of our wedding day. Another added benefit of hiring Sybex Studios is that we got our first photo booth hiring from them. Killing 3 birds with one stone. Best decision From the first email up until our wedding day and even afterwards Reuben was very easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Quick to respond to any queries I had and offered suggestions. Especially helpful was being allowed to pay in instalments up until the wedding day. On our wedding day, Reuben and his team were professional and friendly and during the ceremony discreet. The pictures and video clip of our wedding day were absolutely amazing! Our guests had a fantastic day with the photobooth. I would recommend Reuben and his team at Sybex Studios to everyone!

I have worked with Joel Moses Photography twice -- once for my wedding photos/video in 2006, and again recently when I needed updated professional photos. There are so many reasons that make Joel a great choice for professional photography -- great photos, flexibility in timing/location, quality finished product, quick responses by email and phone, nice studio... but I think the best things about working with Joel are not reasons you'd think of right away. Joel has a really unique personality (especially from what I've seen in the field of professional photography) -- fun, goofy, light-hearted, entertaining, dynamic -- and at first blush you may not realize how valuable that can be in capturing your best self during important (i.e. little bit stressful) events. Most people don't feel that natural in front of a camera, but Joel tells a few jokes, acts a little silly, and then you start to relax and your pictures come out gorgeous. At my wedding, everyone was stressed-out. My mom was yelling at my dad, the flowers in the church were ugly, I hadn't slept much the night before... but Joel worked his magic and giant group shots with all the extended family seemed so easy. My engagement photo was shot on location at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and it's still my favorite photo of my hubby and me -- hangs in my bedroom to this day. Joel shot a photo of me in my bridal gown by myself on the stairs of the altar, with my train perfectly fanned out -- many of my girlfriends have seen this photo and remarked that they wished their photographers had done that too. My husband wanted a traditional album without angled shots or yearbook layout and Joel did exactly that for us. It's nice to work with someone who really listens. A few weeks ago, I needed to get new professional photos and I met Joel in his studio in Fremont. It's a huge, huge place and the room we used had all the makings of a modeling shoot -- lighting, fan, dance music. It was fun! 25 minutes later and 2 changes of clothing and I was out the door. I'm no model but I like my photos -- I think I look happy and my personality comes through. I think Joel's fantastic and I can't wait to see what Joel can do with my kids. My 2.5 year-old never seems to look at the camera, even with my SLR, but I bet Joel will keep her engaged long enough to get some great photos this year. Call Joel Moses! You won't regret it!

I have been honored to work along side Molly now for 4 years. She is open hearted and always goes above and beyond. Molly has a way to turn food into art while introducing your pallet to flavors of the world. She has a passion for what she does and can adapt to any situation whether its one of our food and wine pairings or a wedding for 300+. Another fine point of Organicopia and Molly is that we are family oriented and look forward to having more join our little yet powerful family. Since working with Molly my personal culinary skills have improved and she has opened me to more flavors which is something I encourage everyone to explore. It is true when Organicopia states " Being green never tasted so good ".

Nicola is passionate about photography. She brought great equipment to the beach for our portrait shoot and spent a lot of time making me feel comfortable. She made sure we had multiple natural, quality shots to work with. I was very happy with the final images she made and look forward to working with her again in the future.

I utilized Craig Lovell's ability to capture studio lit shots of my sculptures and to take the personal images I needed for my web designer's showcasing of my work. Craig's crisp images and artful photography were the product of a fun day at the studio. I was further pleased that he had everything ready within the short time schedule that I needed from him, including his great digital photo editing work that I also wanted done to the images. The excellent work was in the designer's hands the next day! Prompt, professional and well equipped work while looking for the artistic edge is my description of Eagle Visions and Craig Lovell's Photography. Use him and be getting compliments immediately like I am.

Sanaz took professional portraits for me. She is very helpful to customer, careful and pay a lot attention to details and very passionate about what she does. She cares a lot about what customer needs and is very patient. She has real professional training and education in photography which I believe considerably distinguishes her from many amateur photographers. If photography is your hobby, she does not mind to give you advice on what equipment's to start with or how to use your current gadgets.

Her work is amazing. It's truly an art watching her pose our newborn. She's very gentle and loving. She has numerous props to use. Also made our toddler feel invovled which then helped our toddler actually want to take photos with her newborn brother.

Camille is awesome! Prompt, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She embodies the reasons why I use small local businesses. Camille came recommended from one of my best friends, so I knew she could be trusted to get my photos done in a professional and timely manner. During my first appointment with Camille she listened to what I expected from her as a photographer. As expected, she delivered the best quality headshots that I have ever had, all within a tight deadline and under budget. Since then, I have referred Camille to many agents in my office. It has truly been an amazing experience. Camille continues provide excellent customer service and she has turned her passion of photography into a true art form. This passion shows in every moment and emotion she captures. When asked for a professional photographer, I will always recommend Camille at UnsceneFocus. You can expect talent, value, and intelligence and she is top in her field!

I purchased a container ship print to add some color to my warehouse office. Nearly every day I get a comment on what a fine photo it is- the color- the sense of motion. And on top of all that- nearly everyone has their own story to tell to add to it- whether it's ships or ocean containers, it sparks conversation- just like all fine art should! Superb!

I hired Adam to take photos for my local-food-focused magazine. From the get-go, he was personable, professional and engaged, with a clear mastery of his equipment and light/art direction. The photos came out spectacular and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Money well spent.

      About

Unlike many photographers in this area I worked for 6 years at the oldest studio in Monterey County before going out on my own. I can do both of the more classical styles or the more photojournalistic type, you can decide which style you prefer. I started out as a professional bass player and learned to love the interaction of people on the dance floor with me onstage but also wanted to be more interactive with people which my love of photography gave me. Creating memories that will last forever is a huge thrill, and that these photographs will be part of your families history.
