I have been playing guitar for seven years and have experience learning and playing a significant range of musical genres, including blues, rock, metal, blues rock, country rock, etc. I have taken lessons from Boston's Berkeley College of Music alumni, Mike Berkowitz. I spent the majority of my learning years through today playing onstage at a local church, working my way up from playing in the youth group to now performing most weeks of the month in front of over one-thousand people. I have performed in a number of local bands and at venues like "The Big Fresno Fair" and have toured to areas along the West Coast performing at reputable venues, such as the "Whiskey A Go Go" in LA and "The Great American Music Hall" located in San Francisco. I have recently decided to begin teaching guitar and pass on the knowledge and skill I have gained through my experiences from performing music to writing and occasionally recording. I can provide lessons or guidance to students of any range of skill from beginner to advanced, from basic chord changes to advanced technique.
Many people believe that they can learn to play music solely from the Internet, but this method lacks structure and guidance. I notice that many holes form within their knowledge of music, and this hinders musicians from being able to express themselves freely. I hope to close any gaps and allow for a full knowledge of the instrument so that it may be played expressively and without hindrance. I realize that I am in an inconvenient location in relation to Fresno and am perfectly willing to travel to the student at a possible additional cost depending on distance or convenience to help cover gas charges. Thank you, and I look forward to working with you!
