Introduction: We are extremely organized in our planning process and creating the timeline for a successful event day. We are two creative individuals who like to think outside the box and plan something totally unexpected. As twins, we compliment each other and work as a cohesive team. The best part of being an event planner is waking up the morning of one of our events. It is an indescribable feeling knowing that you are about to create something extra special and make your client's vision come to life.

Tami and Lauren were the coordinators for my wedding in October 2014. They were FANTASTIC! I can't say enough about how invaluable they were on this super important day. They truly made it a seamless experience and took an immense amount of pressure off me and my mom who was so nervous about things not coming together in time or going right on the day of the wedding. They went the extra mile for us when the didn't have to. Tami was especially experienced in getting us to consider so many details we hadn't even thought about because we were so overwhelmed and she made sure nothing was left unnoticed. It was these special touches that contributed to the overall unique experience of our wedding! Having been a wedding coordinator myself in the past, I know how critical it is to be organized and thorough. I really appreciated this about Tami and I love the calm, friendly nature of both her and Lauren. One aspect that truly stood out was their ability to personalize our wedding so it was a true reflection my husband and I. Put all this together with Lauren's incredible talent in creative decor concepts and I know they can make any event a huge success!

Side by Sode Design exceeded all my expectations. They were competent, warm, intuitive, and went above and beyond what the job was. I would trust them with even the most detailed event. Their design sensibilities are clean, modern, innovative, and classic but even more importantly they have the ability to get to know the clients personal design ascetic and then have it come to life. I couldn't possibly recommend them more highly.

Tami and Laurie were absolutely amazing for our wedding day! We had planned much of our wedding, but were overwhelmed by pulling all of it together on the day of the event! They met with us prior to the day, and pulled together all of our vendors. They hooked us up with an awesome florist, and created a flawless day for us! An extra bonus was a beautiful blog description of our wedding with pictures and all. Worth twice what we paid!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly taking advantage of all that the world of e-courses and conferences have to offer. We want to keep up with the design world around us.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We plan weddings, Bar / Bat Mitzvahs, dinner parties, charity events, etc. Side by Side Design is also a thriving Interior Design business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that when you meet in person you feel really comfortable. If in a first meeting you aren't sure, it is probably not a good match.
