- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As each case is unique it will depend on the amount of time and work the attorney needs to provide for the client. There are discounts for low-income, student and international clients as well as flat rates for certain types of cases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Have a free initial phone conversation to get the initial backstory and see if there is a case or if the client is really in need of an immigration attorney. Then if it is determined that there is a viable case the necessary steps and process to gain the immigration relief being sought will be reviewed and begun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
License to practice law, a law Degree, a mediators certification, experience as the editor of the International Journal of Law at UB for two years as well as handling various Immigration cases.
