Jonathan is completely present, completely encouraging, and pushes me to do my best. He doesn't have that over-the-top annoying trainer vibe, either; he's just solid and awesome. His gym is great: the equipment is clean and in perfect condition, and the people that show up are all serious about improving their health and fitness and hitting their goals. Hire this guy.
Being an athlete my entire life I have had many coaches, personal trainers, and workout experiences. The workouts OJ from One Body has designed to meet my workout goals have been extremely challenging and a perfect addition to my current workout regiment. Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. He is incredibly motivating and inspiring - and he was so keen to help me as an individual and find out what would work best for me. I didn't like 'traditional' exercise, like endless runs or boring gym machines - but Jake could find ways to mix it up, keep it fresh and interesting, and I even managed to have fun along the way! Meghan is a powerhouse - a true professional! She walks her talk by staying fit, healthy and progressive in the best practice methods available. Although I am a certified health and wellness coach, she added depth to what I know. She provided great tasting recipes that were satisfying and easy to prepare. I’ve been with Kim since January 2017. I’ve seen the biggest transformation in my health and fitness since working with her. Working with meryl has been a joy! I am by no means an athlete or a health nut. I'd sit forever and live off donuts if i could (I probably have at times). I was waaaay off the fitness wagon when I started with meryl but she has gotten me on track! It's actually fun to work out now (well...as close to fun as it will ever be for a person who loves to lounge as much as I do). I'm on my second leg of training and I have had amazing results in body fat percentage reduction, weight loss and overall fitness in just 2 months. I'm now motivated to keep my fitness goals going and her training has been instrumental in getting me to this place. She's also fantastic at working with people with injuries. Highly recommended!
Gil was an incredibly effective and motivating trainer. With his extensive educational background and understanding of balancing the weights, with diet, and cardio - I find training with Gil to already have significant effects not only on my body but also my overall health. I also appreciate the constant communication even when I'm not around and traveling, making sure to keep me on track and keep my diet in line with the overall goals of my training. he's a great guy and couldn't recommend him more to anyone out there that wants to get into great shape, better shape, or really just kickstart a healthier lifestyle.

Therapy never quite made a difference for me in the past, and believe me I really wanted it to. Samanthas approach is so completely different and more personal then anything I experienced before that it has profoundly impacted my life in a way I always wished therapy would have. Unlike others, she helped me understand my life as a whole - and helped me develop a sense of self-compassion I never before realized would be so instrumental in my self-acceptance and self-growth. I learned to appreciate what it really means to be a growing human-being with Samantha and I learned to step back and see the whole picture of my life instead of just chopped up and seperate events. Some are good at making you think they understand you, but with Samantha one feels it. Best of all, she feels like a friend that really relates and not a detached doctor taking suspicious notes that is always at an arms length. I only wish I had met her sooner.

I have had a number of personal trainers in my past, and Eric is undoubtedly the best "coach" that I have had. Eric is highly focused and on top of his game in the personal training industry. As a registered nurse myself, I appreciate that Eric takes the time to read credible sources and stays abreast the newest research evidence about exercising, diet, and mental health. He takes a holistic approach to training, while not compromising the physical fitness goals that we primarily have when we hire a personal trainer. While training with Eric, my needs are constantly heard - my goals, my physical limitations, my emotional barriers, and my ever changing work schedule. No cookie cutter training. Eric is an incredible listener - in person as well as in texting! He responds promptly to my questions and needs. He does not ignore me on the days that I don't train with him. So if you need a personal trainer who is completely invested in you as much as you are invested in yourself, and committed to pushing you to surpass your personal goals, Eric is your man. There are innumerous personal trainers out there, some with many years, even decades of experience. However, I didn't want a trainer who was "old school" or stuck in training in the same manner that they had been for decades. I purposely chose Eric, because I wanted a young trainer with a fresh, young, open mind and ideas. He has been exactly that! I'm impressed by his educational and professional training background. I'm impressed by his drive, passion, and the pride he takes in his work. If you are considering Eric as your personal trainer, go ahead and sign up! I can assure you that you won't be sorry.
Doing nutritional consultations with Kay Curtis is one of the best things I've ever done. Here's the deal: I was an athlete, and in great shape until I injured my knees in a subway accident. Being unable to run, over the years, I gained weight. There were some other life changes that also contributed to the weight gain. I've always been interested in being healthy and I was taking a lot of vitamins and supplements. I read the ads or heard about the newest supplement on the market that would support some body system or prevent some unhealthy thing from happening. "Prevention" was the buzzword that would hook me. I was "trying" to be healthy. I started seeing Kay Curtis because I had heard other success stories. In my first meeting with her, she had me bring in all of the supplements I'd been taking. She tested me on all them and I found out that I tested poorly on a lot of them. Yikes! She then tested me on the extremely high-quality supplements that she uses from Standard Process. The purpose of testing me on many supplements was to find out what organs needed help (adrenals, heart, etc.) Her philosophy is, in order to lose weight, you need to be healthy. So I got rid of the "bad" supplements and started on the ones Standard Process that Kay recommended. The first thing I noticed was that I was sleeping better. For many years I've had problems getting to sleep. I don't any more. This is a MAJOR win! Secondary to that, I have lost 35 pounds. Those supplements I was taking in an effort to be healthy were actually working against me. There was no logical system to what I was doing, I was just adding things to the mix hoping that they were doing what they were supposed to do. Every sane diet tells you to stop eating bread. I've been addicted to bread my whole life and have tried to stop eating it many times. Bread was one of my favorite foods. I couldn't imagine a meal without it. I actually didn't feel like a meal was complete unless I had at least one piece of bread. Until now. One of Kay's suggestions was to try a low-carb bread. Usually stuff like that is awful but she has found a low-carb bread that actually tastes good and has a good texture (not like other "alternatives" to bread that taste awful and have the texture of crusty old gym socks). The first couple of weeks on the diet Kay recommended were very hard, but I lived through them. She is very helpful, with good suggestions for getting through rough spots and things that a difficult. This is not a deprivation diet. The idea is to have meals be satisfying and healthy. I was never hungry on this diet. Snacks are encouraged - healthy ones. Now, I don't crave sweets all the time. I don't have to have chocolate. (I never thought I'd say that!) That's amazing. I can't believe that when I want a snack, I think about having a cucumber! And I love it. There's a lot of false data, fad diets and junk supplements out there. I'm so glad that I have Kay Curtis to advise me in this complicated and crazy area. I highly recommend Curtis Nutrition - not just to fix what might be ailing you, but to achieve optimal health and wellness. Kay Curtis is there for you, with solutions.
Going into a plan with my health, and fitness goals was extremely overwhelming. I was slightly overweight, feeling depressed and had no idea where to start. I started talking with Elbert from Atlas Sports Medicine about my goals, and concerns. He was incredible to work with, and provided me with such valuable information with nutrition, and a workout plan to fit within my goals.
