I hired Scott to fix the mistakes done by another contractor to my 7 month old new composite decks. He came out gave me a fair price and showed up on time everyday. He pointed out what needed to be done to correct the sagging that was happening when to the decking the first day it got hot. Scott thoroughly explained how he would do the work. He would have to lift up the decking and install joists every 16" to both decks. Something that should have been done in the first place by Monterrozo Construction. Something they later tried to blame on me in a bold face lie that I had refused to do. Although they could not explain why they had recommend and did install joists and cement posts for support on one of the decks which I had authorized the extra expense to do, but those joists were not placed at the correct distance to keep the deck from sagging. Scott also used pressure treated wood instead of the untreated Douglas Fir Monterrozo had used for support beams even though my contract with them stated they would use treated wood. When Scott lifted the decking he showed me where it is just bare untreated wood against the deck that Monterrozo simply covered in a coat of stain on the sides after the decking was laid down. Scott fixed several other things that were done just sloppily or missed entirely by the other company without any extra charge. He was there every day doing the work with his partner so if I had any concerns or questions I did not have to go through someone in his office first. I would highly recommend Custom Creations to all my friends and wished I had hired him in the first place. Stay clear of Monterrozo.

I wanted to replace the ceiling of my patio because it was made of corrugated aluminum and it was falling apart. Scott answered my project on Thumbtack, asked me for pictures and dimensions and was able to give me a very quick, accurate and more than reasonable quote for the entire job. He came over and took off the existing ceiling, and got rid of all the trash. He came in on another day to install the ceiling and he did a perfect job. Thank you Scott for a job very well done. Finally found a contractor I can trust.

I contacted Mr. Scott Brown for a bid to perform the replacement of my patio cement which was badly cracked. He came to my residence the next day with an estimate that I was very pleased to accept. Mr. Brown started the work within a few days, although, we lost a weeks work due to the winter rains, he kept a tight schedule. The cement work was done perfectly and looks great. While on the job, I had Mr. Brown rebuild my fence gate which looks really nice. I am glad that I chose Custom Creations for my projects.
