Dan's work is top noch. His mixes stand out above the rest. Dan gave me the sound I was looking for and I loved every minuet that I was in his studio. I highly recommend Studio 201 Recording.

Recorded here a couple of days ago and had a wonderful time. Dan is a real professional. He blew my band away with his excellent mix of our song. I highly recommend this studio to bands that want a sound that they can't get anywhere else.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We offer Mixing, Mastering, Production, and Recording. We can also make adjustments to the song when the song calls for them to be made.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. We very recently finished a mixing project with 2 Chainz, and another with Crooked I of Slaughterhouse, which were then sent to 'Big Bass' Brian Gardner and finally broadcast on national radio.

Before this, we recorded The Bangles and Richard Thompson, which we sent to Keith Olsen for some additional string arrangements.

We also recorded and mixed artists like Dizzy Reed of Guns N' Roses, Matt Malley of Counting Crows, Scott Radinski of Pulley, and many more!

Lots of up and coming talent as well. Be on the look out for great music coming out of Studio 201!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. It's hard to know what to look for when searching for a recording studio. The two most common questions have to do with equipment, and pricing. We have phenomenal equipment, and phenomenal pricing, but these probably aren't the most important questions, and I think I can help.

You should be looking for a studio that can give you the sound you want, and can do so fast and efficiently. What's the point of great gear and a great price if it doesn't sound good and takes forever?

Always listen to examples of work that comes out of that studio, and ask them how long you think it might take to complete the kind of project you are looking for.

We are confident that what comes out of Studio 201 sounds better than anything you will find elsewhere, and we get the job done quickly!

We want to make you happy, and that is our goal. You need a great sounding product, and you need it fast. We will do that!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy all aspects of my job, but I love the mixing process the most. I like finding the perfect balance and sound for a mix that I'm working on.
