Introduction: Dream Catcher of Los Angeles Therapeutic Riding Centers' mission is to enhance the lives of adults, veterans, and children with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities through the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding, as well as other equine-assisted activities, while attending to the needs of the therapeutic riding profession through education and training. Joan Blank, an outstanding and professional rider that makes us as parents understand and feel the importance of this therapeutic riding. Yet, she has given as much as support as we need, by having us decide the best days and hours and possibly cancel due to Benjamin condition as she can offer, never lets her guards down. Joan helps on every step of the way, as she leads to reach us parents our goal, and by making i her own goal. Its been a couple of months that we have been taking our son Benjamin age 4yr , diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and as we look back on how he had started to now, Benjamin has improved his sitting and we noticed that his posture is stronger. I have to say thanks to Joan effort and dedication, including her volunteers/staff, by helping those kids with disabilities ride those wonderful horses that she has professionally trained in order to work the best way as possibly, on other words she is a NATURAL.

We love Dream Catcher L.A.!!! My son, who has cerebral palsy, has been receiving therapeutic horseback riding for a year with this organization. It has been, from the beginning, a very positive experience. The entire staff, instructors and volunteers, are incredibly passionate about the work they do. There is an intuitive understanding of how the relationship with these beautiful horses can help these kids, not just physically but also emotionally. Each program is customized for each rider and Joan, founder and instructor, is remarkable in her ability to connect with each rider. Her energy level is always high and she truly loves each child that comes into the program.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have an 8 week session for $360. The first lesson is called an "intake" where we assess the rider and consider what horse and tack would be the best for them. then we design a program that is specific to that rider. We teach English and Western riding.

Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Intl) Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning M.A., EAGALA Certified All our instructors are certified!
