Introduction: As a Professional Organizer with over 16 years of experience, I offer many services. I service the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara County areas. I do not charge for travel time and there are NO contracts where a client is required to pay for a large amount of hours up-front. I charge an hourly rate and it is only for the time that I am actually there working in the residence/storage/business, etc. We offer: 1. Organizing 2. Packing/Unpacking 3. Downsizing 4. Decluttering/Organizing A Home to List for Sale 5. Assisting Clients with Special Needs (ADD/ADHD/Dementia/Alzheimer's to name a few) 6. Organizing a Closet/Room or Entire Home After the Loss of a Loved One(s) 7. There is much more. Please ask if you do not see it listed. Organizing/De-Cluttering? Organizing is a passion and I enjoy sharing this with my clients. I have always enjoyed helping others and no two projects are ever the same. Are you overcome with clutter? Downsizing? I can help you with the sorting process and the decisions regarding what to keep and what to let go of. We pack according to the needs of your move. Is it a local move? Out-of-state? (an out-of-state move requires additional detail.) We include the packing paper. room labeling tape and tape for the boxes (no extra charge.) The labeling of the rooms will provide a much quicker way to organize the boxes for unpacking at your next residence. Everything is clearly labeled (room labels are color-coded) and there is special labeling for anyboxes that you will need within the first 24-48 hours. (please see my photos.) Unpacking? Have you just moved into your home and do not have the time to unpack? Do you want the added touch or a Professional Organizer? It is a pleasure to offer this and we still include items at no additional cost. We can not only unpack and organize your items, but we maximize every bit of the space you may have. When I complete the organization of a room or home, many times it will provide a life-changing experience for my client, especially those who have been dealing with clutter for many years. For those who are dealing with a lack of space, I am able to maximize that space In ways you never thought of and show you how to keep it that way. Special Needs? I have many adult clients with ADD/ADHD. Over the years I have come up with many different solutions to help solve the problem of clutter that you are dealing with. I have raised a child with ADHD and have taken care of someone with Parkinson's/Alzheimer's. I can honestly state that I relate to what you and/or a caregiver may be experiencing. I am here to help. For clients or caregivers who need assistance with Dementia/Alzheimer's, I also have helpful ways to relieve some of the issues you may be facing. Laurie is the best professional certified organizer out there! She so sweet and caring and gets the job done without any hidden fees. She provides organizers at no additional cost. Doesn’t charge for mileage or assessment consultation. She organized my living room, cabinets and kitchen and we are very happy with her work! I had boxes of stuff I had not gone through in years and she help sort and organize everything which created a lot of more space for us to move around. She makes things very accessible. I wish I could hire her all the time. We definitely plan to hire her again in the future. For anyone looking to hire a professional organizer I highly recommend Laurie at A Time to be Organized! Don’t waste time with anyone else, trust me, I looked around and talked with others and saw a difference where others are out to make a profit. Laurie has integrity and does not take advantage of anyone. She is also certified which most out there are not. I will recommend Laurie to anyone looking to get organized.

Given the lack of the storage space that you expect to see (coat closet, linen cabinets, etc.) it can sometimes be a challenge. I had a wonderful time coming up with creative ways to not only get everything put away and organized, but to make it easy to keep it that way. I booked this company to help my daughter move. She and her husband had to relocate for work and they just had a baby. They were so helpful and understanding. Packed incredibly and my daughter said she even learned some things. Laurie was super kind and explained everything to a tee! She sent her assistant and she was great. There’s no need to even send for a quote from the other companies. Hire Laurie!! This company is a small business you should support with your business because I got great value for what I paid. That’s for damn sure!!!! They’ve got you covered!! Shauna was great and fast as heck!! Her OCD is perfect for the job too! 😂 she packs your stuff securely with speed and care like a Tetris master. I definitely am going to call them for all my organizing jobs and moves. Such a big help.

There are soooo amazing things I could say about Laurie! She helped me when I needed it more than ever- I had just moved to ÇA from the Midwest and had an injured arm so I couldn’t even open my moving boxes. She helped me unpack and put EVERYTHING away which would have taken me probably at least six months by myself and she found storage solutions to implement that did not exist in my apartment (very limited space for storage). She also served as a very kind confidant and nice kind honest human to interact with the entire time which was extra appreciated being new in town. I honestly don’t know if I would have remained sane without her! I couldn’t say enough good things Laurie is great and I would trust her 100 and hire her again and again when needed! She even goes the extra mile and talks through ideas and solutions with you. Also noting that the job of unpacking was no small task she handled it very professionally and didn’t make me feel bad about my situation. Thank you Laurie you are very appreciated in so many ways !
